I had a fantastic experience on the “Fall of Yugoslavia” private tour with Meet Bosnia. It was incredibly informative and moving. Amir was not only knowledgeable but also shared complex and emotional history with great empathy. The tour was well organized, ran smoothly, and included a perfect mix of important sites and personal stories. I had an amazing time on the Travnic & Jajce trip with Meet Bosnia! Our guide Ahmed was fantastic — incredibly knowledgeable and full of interesting facts and stories that brought the history of the places to life. He managed to keep the whole day engaging and fun. Our driver, Farruk, was such a cool guy — super friendly and funny, and he made the whole journey really enjoyable with his great vibe. The trip was well-organized, beautiful, and memorable. Definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Bosnia!

Wonderful sights, lovely company, chaotic karaoke – A trip of a lifetime

My overriding emotion following this trip is that fate has mysterious ways of connecting complete strangers to the extent that they end up being fast friends. Our trip to Konjic, Dervish Lodge, Pocitelj, Kravice Waterfalls and Mostar, is a perfect illustration. Our tour guide Kristijan picked us from our hotel at 7.50am in Sarajevo and after paying our dues at the office along with picking up a couple of fellow travellers, we hit the road around 8.30. The trip was due to last a total of 12 hours, but luckily for us, Kris decided to give us additional time, as on our way to Mostar, we were stuck in traffic. So in effect, our trip lasted for well over 14 hours, and we enjoyed every single minute of it. For this, we are eternally thankful to Kris. Our group comprised of eight people with equal representation from the UK and USA. Kris led the charge to break the ice with exceptional skill and as the journey went on, our fellow travellers started to open up. Incredibly, at the end of our journey, it was as if we had known each other forever and it was rather sad to part ways. Bosnia and Herzegovina is a fabulous place with a rich culture, warmth and hospitality, historical monuments, lush green landscape, rivers and bridges, churches, mosques and synagogues in close proximity. Above all, it has incredibly clean air and streams in abundance. It is one of the few countries, where you can drink tap water without any fear at all. The tour price of 65 Euros pp also included entry fee to the dervish lodge and Kravice Waterfalls. The travel agents also provided cheese sandwiches as well, which was a great treat. We travelled to the aforementioned day on a glorious sunny day. I could possibly write pages about each destination we visited, but no amount of words are going to any justice to the beauty and charm of the places that we have visited. I have however attached some photos that we captured during our visit. I would highly recommend that you visit Bosnia and take a trip to these places to truly appreciate them. And by any chance Kris is your travel guide then it is going to be a massive bonus. On our way back, Kris offered each one of us to pick up a song to play for a singalong. It started from Bohemian Rhapsody and along the way, we traverse through various other genres such as hip-hop, rock, Euro dance, Qawwali, Bollywood, Bhangra, Country music and so on. We had such an enjoyable time that it is now forever etched on our hearts and minds forever. I would like to thank our travelling party including Kris sincerely for providing us such an unforgettable experience. Kris – Keep singing Bolo Tara rara mate ! ( Bolo means “say or sing with me” Tara rara is a musical tune or note)

Amazing Tour

Amazing Tour The guide Arna is really special. Such a lovely lady with incredible energy and expertise. We really enjoyed our time with her and learned a lot about Sarajevo and Bosnia. She took us on a journey through history and culture yet also connected us with the local community / food scene and opened our eyes to the daily lives of Bosnians in Sarajevo. Arna also gave us many tips on what is worth doing and seeing. Highly recommended tour. Dont miss out.

Delicious cevap, the best we’ve ever tasted. We took cevapici, the sosis and the flat meat. Everything beyond delicious. You cannot miss their homemade cheese (it is with kaymac)… it is the creamiest you will ever try. Their bread is amazing and very unique, even similar to the Egyptian baladi one. Homemade apple juice 0% added sugar also great!! It’s been a treat.
