This is a small place. We ate cevabi . It was delicious but it had too much oil. There was nothing special about the meatballs. The kajmak is very salty

A brilliant albeit harrowing day. Our guide was excellent, explaining about his personal experiences from the Bosnian war and genocide at Srebrenica. I would recommend this excursion to anyone who wishes to learn about the atrocities committed during the war.

When we were visiting Sarajevo, we booked a trip to Srebrenica with “Meet Bosnia, city tours and excursions”. We totally recommend doing the tour with them. The driver was very friendly, open, and gave us lots of detailed historical information all the time. We learned so much with him !!! and besides that, he also drove really safely. Doing the tour with them is a “must”.

During our five days in Sarajevo we decided to go on not only one, but three, tours with Meet Bosnia and they really made our trip to Bosnia a great experience, we would recommend it to everyone! We first joined the free walking tour with an amazing guide, Arna. She was a great story teller and took us around the old town showing us all the important sights. We were a gruop of approximately 10 people and Arna really did her best to answer all questions and made sure that we all had a good time. The best part was that she brought us into different shops and restaurants where we got a small treat from the local kitchen, the best start imaginable for us in Sarajevo! The tour took a bit more than two hours. On our second day in Sarajevo we had booked the full day tour to Mostar online in advance, the booking went smoothly and we got good information on how to prepare and what to bring with us. The tour started at 8am and most of us met up outside the office, it was also possible to be picked up if you lived further away from the office. We had the pleasure of having Arna on this tour as well, and an excellent driver called Haris. Arna was a great guide and she told us a lot about the different cities and areas we drove by and she was very attentive to our needs and wanted everyone to enjoy the tour. We visited a lot of interesting sights and it was great to go with a guide, we got to see and hear about a lot of things we wouldn't have if we had gone by ourselves. We really enjoyed the tour! The two only negative things were that it was a very warm day (for april) and the AC didn't work that well but Arna and Haris did their very best to make sure everyone was okay. The other thing was that we went the day before a public holiday and a lot of Bosnians took advantage of the long weekend to go to the sea/abroad which lead to a lot of traffic. Our tour took over 14 hours in total which was a bit too exhausting, it felt like they tried to squeeze in a bit too many stops (not sure if this is the feeling when it's not as much traffic, but i do think it was one stop too many). However, we liked the tour do much that we went back the next day to book our third tour, The Fall of Yugoslavia. This was an excellent half day tour to understand the impact of the siege of Sarajevo and the war. Emin was also an exceptional guide with a lot of knowledge, he explained it all well and shared storied about how his family was impacted. The last stop was at the former Olympic bob sleigh-track and here you could chose to go down by the cable car instead of going back with the van, this was a great possibility and something that can be mentioned in the information beforehand! We visited the office even during our last day in Sarajevo because they also do luggage storing. We were allowed to store our bags there for free since we had gone on their tours (not counting the free walking tour), otherwise it would have been 5 euros per bag. We are extremely satisfied with all the three tours and especially the openess and helpful atmosphere at the office, you could go there for anything and they would be happy to help the best that they can! Would recommend everyone to book a tour!
