This is a highly professional company with passionate young operators keen to share the love of their country. We put together a number of tours with Aisa, who besides being prompt and highly competent in making arrangements for us, was also extremely courteous and friendly. Every recommendation or suggestion she made was spot on! Prior to learning about Meet Bosnia we had considered renting a car to explore by ourselves, but the tours are not expensive by comparison and having expert guides (Ismet, Ago and Senad) undoubteldly enhanced our time in Bosnia and took us to places we might not have otherwise included. Exploring by oneself is fine if you have plenty of time, but you see and learn so much more with a guide if time is limited. We can recommend Meet Bosnia without reservation - thanks for introducing and sharing your country with us.

I booked a tour with Bosnia tours to Srebenica which cost me BM130. Our driver was Mr almir. From the moment he picked us up (7.55am) till the moment he dropped us off (6pm) he was a gem. He spoke to us throughout the entire journey he told us a lot of history that happened within Bosnia during the war. He answered many many questions and he told us about his personal insight and how he lived during the sad days of the war. We also visited the cemetery and memorial to the thousands of people who were brutally murdered through no fault of their own. The details of which are far too gruesome to share. There was a particular prayer of hope that I found in the cemetery which was heart touching. I would definitely recommend everyone to visit however part be aware it is an emotional and sad place. We then had a meal at one off the local restaurants and then headed back to Sarejvo. Almir dropped us off at the hotel safe and sound. Almir is a great tour guide. An absolute credit to the meet Bosnia team.

"Must-do" tour for understanding the present as well as the past
A fascinating afternoon tour giving insights into the 1990s conflict through visits to some of the key locations in the struggle Thankfully, the city has rebuilt extensively so the sites visited are not easy to find or identify by yourself, plus the guide (in our case Ago) is essential in showing how the memories are still very much alive in civic memory. Pity the tunnel of hope is only accessible through a replica at the present time. Given the importance of the seige in Bosnian and international history, this tour is highly recommended!

Good way to introduce yourselves to Sarajevo
Sarajevo's impressive old town is easy to walk around in a single morning and this tour is a great way to introduce yourself to the city's history and culture before delving into it to explore by yourselves in greater detail. Our guide, Ago, was very knowledgeable, entertaining, and fun to be with. He also advised on where to have lunch afterwards and where to prioritise in our personal explorations over the coming days. Mostar and lots more in a single day
This tour covers a lot of ground in a single (albeit long) day. The best way to explore Herzegovina is probably slowly, by yourselves, over several days. But if time is at a premium and you are staying in Sarajevo, then this is highly recommended as a great alternative for discovering this truly beautiful and spectacular region. The highlights for us were Mostar (of course) - it's historic centre is small so it was easy to visit in February when there were no crowds and we didn't feel that our time there was rushed - and the Dervish monastery at Konjic, which is set is a stunning location. Our time at the Kravice falls was a little restricted but they are well worth including in the tour. We appreciated that our guide (Senad) gave short explanations, allowing ample free time for us to explore by ourselves. The drive by Jablanica Lake and through the Neretva river gorges offers spectacular scenic views and some great places to eat.

Historic Bosnia beyond Sarajevo
The drive is quite long from Sarajevo but this tour turned out to be one of the unexpected highlights of our time in Bosnia. Travnik and Jajce retain an authenticity because mass tourism doesn't seem to have arrived yet, although there are some beautiful spots frequented by locals, especially the stunning lake at Jajce and its nearby water mills. The towns have much to tell from their eventful histories, evident in their ruined castles and magnificent mosques. Visiting in February meant that we had amazing views of the mountains with their forests of fir trees half buried under spectacular snow cover. Our tour was greatly enhanced by having Ismet as our guide. He was fun to be with and is incredibly knowledgeable, demonstrating genuine passion and fascination for the places we visited. We also enjoyed wide-ranging conversations in the car! Thanks😊
