The perfect Herzegovinian day

This tour is designed to introduce you to the rich cultural and natural diversity Herzegovina has to offer. Konjic and Počitelj showcase rural life here, and how it survived the wars of the 1990s. While in Počitelj, climb to the fortress for a beautiful view of the area! Blagaj and Kravice, in contrast, are both much more intertwined with the landscape. Mostar, however, is a magical city that gets increasingly beguiling as the sun sets. Senad was a hilarious, knowledgeable guide throughout and ensured I had the most incredible time. At Kravice, he drove to viewing distance of the waterfalls, meaning more time to enjoy them. Highly recommended!

Tour review - spectacular waterfalls

Enjoyable day visiting Herzegovina. Numerous stops with good time allocation at each. Highlights were waterfalls (breathtaking!) and Mostar. Tour guide was helpful and a good driver.

Great Tour

Great tour with a really knowledgeable guide. Stopped off at some greats spots with Mostar and kravica falls being the highlights. Tried some local beer and got some ice cream in Mostar as well as having some nice souvenir shops. Would definitely recommend this tour.

Guide was excellent (we think she was Arla). She gave us a wealth of information including personal experiences that made the tour more interesting. Trip up mountain and to the Tunnel of Hope were the highlights. Highly recommended.

A window into Sarajevo’s past and the stories it holds

I found MeetBosnia Tours a day before I was set to leave for Sarajevo. Prior to booking, I was interested in visiting the Tunnel of Hope and other sites in Sarajevo that were not in the immediate vicinity of the city. The Tunnel of Hope is quite a distance away, and honestly, I had no idea how to actually get there besides taking a taxi. I was fortunate enough to stumble upon MeetBosnia on Instagram, where I found this tour that immediately stood out to me, as they would take you to such sites, along with other important areas of Sarajevo's recent history. It was ultimately a no-brainer for me, as I would get to see the Tunnel, as well as everything else that would otherwise be out of reach for me. The tour itself is communicated excellently; MeetBosnia has excellent communication and contacts you beforehand to confirm details and accommodate you. My guide, Armin, was especially excellent in driving us around everywhere, answering the thousands of questions I had in great depth, providing a fantastic perspective on life in Bosnia today, and just, in general, had great patience as he gave us all his time. We got stuck in traffic during some roadworks, and our tour went on for longer than expected, but he still made sure to let us all take in everything, offered to take pictures, and just, in general, really made the experience everything! I'd highly recommend this be one of the first things you do if you are coming to Sarajevo, as it gives an excellent introduction to the city, its recent history, and its people. I used it as an introduction to the sites I wanted to explore later and, for example, spent the next day hiking Mount Trebević and the bobsled track fully. Additionally, Armin also told us about the other things that MeetBosnia does; in this case, airport transfers, which they can arrange for you at the office itself! I'd love to come back to Bosnia and explore the rest of the country, and these are exactly the people I would trust to help me with this. We had the most amazing tour with Jasmin our guide. This is a very full day, 8am to 8pm, and you see some fabulous sights. Exceptionally well organised by Meet Bosnia tours, but we have to give a special mention to Jasmin. Don't just go on the trip, talk to your Guide

You will see some spectacular views over Sarajevo but the best thing that you can do is to talk to your guide. We were extremely lucky to have Almir, who served in the Bosnian Army during the war. In my home country (the UK) I work with Veterans for a living and I have rarely come across a more inspiring person. His basic humanity in the face of some of the challenges he has met in truly humbling.
