Today I had an absolutely fabulous time. Did the tour with four fellow world travellers. Kristijan was our driver and host. Nothing was too much for him. He did an excellent job. Very knowledgeable friendly and funny. We spent a wonderful day visiting amazing sites in a wonderful country. We all agreed the tour wouldn't have been so great without Kristijan.

So much moving history and beautiful scenery packed into four hours
As a first-time visitor to Sarajevo I'd been struggling to wrap my head around the complexities of its history, but our guide Almir couldn't have been better at laying out the personalities and timelines leading up to the conflict. His own personal experiences of the war and its after-effects made this the most powerful tour I've been on, but all told with humour and frankness that meant it was never less than entertaining. Aside from the history, this tour was a fantastic introduction to the city, taking us from one end to the other via some literal high points (I thought I'd already been to the Yellow Fortress but it turned out I'd gone to the wrong fortress entirely - another reason to get the advice of a local guide!) Almir was also generous with his knowledge, answering my questions which weren't strictly about the tour, pointing out bonus sights like the iftar cannon, and giving us time to explore areas like the tunnel and bobsled run at our leisure. Thanks so much for a wonderful afternoon in Sarajevo.

A beautiful, complete and emotionally rich tour. There are eight of us in a comfortable and new minibus, therefore convenient. From 8 in the morning to 20 on time, we were able to do all the stops on the program, also thanks to a day of magnificent sunshine. Wonderful places like Mostar, where history speaks and you can experience a fairytale atmosphere. The waterfalls are stunning. A special thanks to our driver Christian, a very nice, kind, patient young man with us tourists and prepared. He drives safely and showed us everything calmly and on time. His explanations were interesting and punctual, he speaks perfect English, understandable even for those who are not familiar with the language. Really very good: for us he deserves a full ten. The Meet Bosnia tour operator is excellent. We recommend it to all travellers. And the cost was worth the whole day.
