Fun family activity

Crew was super friendly, fun and great sense of humor. We were able to see whales and the water was clear at Molokini crater. It was windy/choppy on the boat ride, but crew handled the boat very well and did what they could do ensure guests’ comfort. Only opportunity for improvement that I can suggest is to increase amount of breakfast items—food was gone before several members of our party got anything to eat. Since they advertise offering breakfast, that was a disappointment. Overall—would recommend!

We had a blast in the afternoon tour. Smooth ride, friendly and helpful crew. They taught us the basics to have a succesul and fun snorkeling time, and the gear provided was great (and I say this in comparison to other tours I had the chance to do). We sailed with Sam and Morgan as crew members and they were great! We got to see whales, snorkel with turtles and many colorful fishes. Highly recommended!

We had the BEST experience on our Maui Snorkeling tour. We were unsure about taking the longer excursion and whether it would be worth it, and it turned out to be the best experience of our vacation. The crew were fantastic - so welcoming and kind, accommodating, fun, incredibly knowledgeable. We want to thank Captain Jamie, Captain Greg, Emily, Morgan, and Drew!!! You are all amazing and gave us one our favorite memories together!

We chose to snorkel with Maui Snorkeling twice - once in 2022 and more recently in 2024. We have experienced both 5hr tour to Molokini crater and 3hr afternoon tour. We had a great time in 2022 with our 1.5year old and 7.5 year old then. The crew was extremely helpful, and guided us all the way through to use the boogie board and noodle and feel comfortable to swim on our own with our younglings. Unfortunately, we didn't have the same experience in 3hr tour with 2024. The crew wasn't forthcoming and we really had to call out for help when we were struggling with our 3 year old on the boogie board. We received help from fellow snorkelers on the cruise but not really from the team. I wish they had replicated the excellent customer service that we had experienced in 2022. We won't be back with Maui snorkeling next time but will definitely go again to Molokini or Coral gardens in future.

Amazing snorkeling - fantastic crew

Laid back, good vibes, great crew and an amazingly good time. This was our second time out with Maui Snorkeling and we were fortunate to once again get the “Dream Team” of Captain Greg, Emily and Dani, joined this time by Walker. There is no way to put into words how great this crew is. From the moment we were checking in, Captain Greg was giving us all a taste of his sense of humor. He was incredibly funny for the entire trip, but don’t take that as he was joking around. First and foremost, he was adamant about safety and following rules. During our trip to Molokini, Greg informed us when there were dolphins and whales and where to spot them. He also gave great information about the area and some history of the area. Walker was new to us as he was not on our first trip with Maui Snorkeling in April, but he certainly felt like he belonged. He was fantastic with the kids on board the boat and even joined in with me in an impromptu sing along (thanks Walker). Also, Walker and Dani joined in as I danced on the boat (much to the chagrin of my family)! Nothing says good times like open ocean Karaoke and dancing. Emily did a snorkel presentation (mini training) on the ride out and helped make everyone on board feel comfortable. It is amazing how all of the crew were smiling all of the time and how special they made us feel. When I left my review the last time I spoke about the food and drink onboard and it was as good this time. I should mention though that the sandwiches served were absolutely huge with choices of ham, turkey and roast beef. Much like the last time we went, the water at Molokini was crystal clear and there were tons of fish everywhere. I can’t stress enough how nice it is to get to the crater and enjoy the snorkeling before the larger boats with 150 people on board start showing up. We were on a smaller boat with fewer people and amazing customer service. I almost forgot to mention the on-board photographer, Jack. While not actually a part of the crew, he was there to do in water and under water photos of the people on board. Jack did an amazing job with the pictures and our family was thrilled with them. One other item I did not mention before was the water slide. After Molokini crater we visited a West Maui location for some more snorkeling with the sea turtles and coral. While there Captain Greg inflated the 50’ water slide from the upper deck and us passengers were able to slide into the clear water. As I said in April after our first time out with Maui Snorkeling, we will definitely be using them on our next trip to Maui for our next snorkel adventure. I cannot sing the praises of our crew enough – Captain Greg, Dani, Emily and Walker. Thank you all so much for the experience and for treating our family so well. We look forward to seeing you again! Perfect snorkel trip on Maui.

We had a wonderful time. Staff are all very professional and nice. Both snorkeling locations were awesome. Whales all along the way, bottlenose dolphins and the Momma finally got to see a sea turtle. Highly recommend. Captain is pretty darn funny to boot. Totally reminds us of Bill Fader! 😍

Over the top adventure! More than what we expected! Loved captain Jamie’s playlist, the crew guys were so helpful and Sarah took amazing pics! How many whales we saw up close were unbelievable! GREAT TRIP!
