Maui Snorkeling gave us one of the best experiences of our entire trip. What really sets them apart is how small and intimate the tour feels. Instead of being packed onto a huge boat, you get a more personal experience where the crew actually learns your name, checks in often, and makes you feel completely taken care of. The crew was incredibly friendly from start to finish, and the captain was an absolute highlight. He is a full on comedian, cracking jokes, keeping everyone laughing, and creating such a relaxed and welcoming vibe that even first time snorkelers felt right at home. The snorkeling itself was beautiful, but the atmosphere the team creates is what makes this company special. If you want a fun, friendly, memorable trip with a smaller group and a crew that truly loves what they do, Maui Snorkeling is the way to go. Highly recommend.

Maui Snorkeling is a Goldilocks company, not too big, not too small, just the right size. We recently went on a snorkeling tour with the company to the Molokini crater and one other spot off the coast of Maui. While at the crater we observed a much larger boat packed with people arriving. It took the customer of the larger vessel at least 10 minutes to get in the water. What a cluster! There were also much smaller vessels present, which seemed nice with no huge crowd, but what if you needed to use the restroom, I guess that is what the ocean is for? Maui Snorkeling was a medium sized boat, that was not overcrowded and has 2 restrooms! The staff were great and brought coffee to us on deck as we ventured out to the crater. We were fortunate and saw a few humpback whales on the way out. We visited the crater for a little over an hour, then went to a second location off the coast of Maui where we saw multiple sea turtles. Breakfast and lunch were included in the tour, along with well-practiced jokes from the captain. The staff was very attentive and friendly. Overall Maui Snorkeling is just right!

We did snorkeling for the first time and with a 3 year old. The crew were very kind and supportive and taught us all what we needed to learn to have a wonderful time. Perfect food for the entire trip. We got lot of knowledge about Hawaii and we are grateful. Thank you so much guys

This was honestly one of the best snorkeling experiences ever! The moment we stepped on the boat, the vibe was perfect — amazing music, super fun energy, and such a welcoming atmosphere. Every single crew member was incredible: friendly, attentive, and just genuinely happy people who made the whole trip feel special. The snorkeling spots were beautiful, the water was crystal clear, and we got so much time to explore. The service was amazing, and the whole day felt like a dream. this was our second time using maui snorkeling and was 10/10! we were able to see a ton of wildlife. especially turtles which are my FAVE! the crew was fantastic as well. would choose maui snorkeling time and time again! it was a beautiful day and time for a fun experience.

★★★★★ BEST DAY OF OUR LIVES: This Crew Turned a Snorkel Trip into Pure Magic!
Hands down the greatest day we’ve ever had on Maui (and we’ve been coming here for 15 years). We booked the morning trip and the second we boarded, the crew made us feel like VIPs. Captain Greg, Sydney , and Katie welcomed us with the biggest smiles on the island. Then Captain Kai grinned and said, “We’re beating the crowds today.” Game on. First stop: a quiet little Turtle Town spot before the big tour boats even left the harbor. We slipped in and instantly had three huge honu gliding all around us. One massive turtle swam right up to my wife, hovered face-to-face for a solid ten seconds, and let her take the selfie of a lifetime. We were literally the only people there. It felt like the ocean belonged to just us and the turtles. On the way to Molokini, a pod of spinner dolphins appeared and escorted us for miles, riding the bow wave like they were putting on a private show. No jumps this time, but watching them surf the pressure wave inches from the boat was hypnotic; my wife and I couldn’t stop grinning. Then the real magic: Captain timed it perfectly and we rolled into Molokini Crater just as the giant catamarans were pulling out. We had the entire crater almost to ourselves (maybe 15 people total in a place that usually looks like rush hour). Visibility was 150+ feet, fish everywhere, coral glowing neon; it was like snorkeling inside an aquarium screensaver. And yes, there’s an epic waterslide off the top deck. My wife (who swears she hates slides) went down screaming-laughing and immediately ran back up the stairs for round two while the crew cheered her on like proud big brothers. On the ride home we spotted a mom and baby humpback whale cruising along the surface; Captain cut the engines and we just drifted, watching them in total silence. Pure bliss. The food was ridiculously good (fresh poke, grilled chicken, local fruit, gluten-free options for my wife without us even asking), and the crew remembered our names the entire trip. I’ve done a lot of snorkel trips on Maui. This one wasn’t just the best; it was one of the happiest days of our married life. These guys don’t run tours, they create memories you’ll brag about for decades. If you do one thing on Maui, make it this trip. Tip them like they just handed you the keys to paradise (because they basically did). Already counting the days until we come back. Mahalo doesn’t even come close. ★★★★★ 100/10 🤿🐢🐬🌺

Amazing captain and crew. My family of eight couldn’t say enough great things about how much fun the snorkeling and slide was and how funny and friendly the crew was. They supplied snacks, food and drinks the whole time and the food was perfect for my family and me. Would recommend this to anyone looking for an amazing time.

Maui Snorkeling was absolutely amazing! The staff were so attentive, patient, and genuinely helpful the entire time. They gave me clear instructions on how to snorkel properly and how to get the face mask on comfortably, which made a huge difference. Everyone was super chill, fun, and ready to answer any question I had. The whole experience felt easy, safe, and enjoyable from start to finish. If you’re looking to snorkel in Maui, this is the place to go. Highly, highly recommend — best snorkeling crew on the island!

Turtles, exotic fishes, dolphins and whales and all the good stuff! Great crew, friendly and helpful. Also, Emily helped my sister get comfortable with water swimming with her being a first time snorkeler. Appreciate it very much!
