The operators were professional and everything went very seamlessly. Thank you all so much for making our family trip so special! My in-laws had never swam in open water or snorkeled before and the staff walked them through everything and really made them feel comfortable during their first snorkeling experience. Thank you all! A++++. We ended up with Maui Snorkeling after another trip fell through and we feel so lucky to have found them. Everything was just perfect: the onboarding fun and efficient, the plan for the day tailored to weather and to minimizing crowds, the staff was funny and energetic and knowledgeable and generous (they even hung out with our 5 year old while his parents used the water slide), the food was spot on, and of course the snorkeling was off the charts. We finished the day so glad we'd booked with a smaller outfit and Maui Snorkeling specifically: they're great humans who run a great tour. Do it!

We expected to see a few more turtles at the stop in Turtle Town, but that's nature for you. Nevertheless, some swam right up to us. A big advantage of this tour is that it's not on a huge boat like with other providers. (Original) Wir hatten die Molokini Krater Tour gebucht. Die Buchung und Kommunikation verlief reibungslos. Kapitän Greg und seine Crew waren hervorragend. Informativ, freundlich, lustig. Beim Halt in Turtle Town hätten wir ein paar mehr Schildkröten erwartet aber das ist halt Naur. Trotzdem sind uns welche vor die Nase geschwommen. Ein großer Vorteil dieser Tour ist, dass es sich nicht um ein riesiges Schiff handelt, wie bei anderen Anbietern.

We had a great time on our Maui snorkeling trip overall. Captain Jamie was professional, experienced, and made us feel safe on the ship. Everything ran smoothly from start to finish, and we were able to see some incredible fish in the water. The slide at the end was also a fun bonus! That said, there were a couple of aspects that could have been better. The female crew members were wearing very minimal string bikinis while walking around the ship, which felt inappropriate given the number of families and couples aboard. Since they were working, I would have expected more professional swimwear, and it came across as awkward in that setting. We were also looking forward to seeing turtles, especially since the website mentioned “turtle town.” When I asked one of the crew members about it, she explained that “turtle town” is more of a marketing phrase since all of Maui is considered turtle town. While she did suggest a nearby spot where we might see turtles, it was disappointing to have our expectations set that way, especially with tickets costing $200 per person. Lastly, the gratuity request at the end felt a little uncomfortable, especially paired with how the crew presented themselves. All in all, we still enjoyed the trip and appreciated Captain Jamie’s professionalism, but with a few adjustments this could easily be a five-star experience

Excellent experience! The captain made the trip very fun. Our crew was incredibly helpful and very nice. If we ever came back to Maui, we wouldn’t even consider going with a different group. Also, the photographer was excellent.

We had an amazing experience snorkeling with Maui Snorkeling! 🤿 Even though I’m not a confident swimmer, the crew made me feel completely comfortable from the start. I had a blast during the entire 5-hour trip, which included snorkeling at Molokini Crater and Turtle Town. The team also made sure to accommodate our vegetarian meals, which we really appreciated. What made it even better was the small group size—it felt more personal and relaxed. They truly are the best! Emily and Whitney are the best!!!

Wonderful snorkeling tour. Kids loved the slide and jumping off the side of the boat. Saw tons of turtles and fish and the water was so clear. They had the boogie boards with windows for our smallest to enjoy the sea life. Crew was amazing, so nice and helpful. Would recommend this boat tour to anyone looking for a great day on the water in maui. 5 stars all around
