Amazing family activity! Our kids were first time snorkelers and they loved it. We got to see a humongous lobster and an octopus at Molokini Crater. Also several turtles were around at Turtle Town. We will be back soon.

This experience was amazing. We rented the entire boat for our Welcome Party to our wedding weekend and everyone had a blast. Due to unseen circumstances, the initial tour got cancelled and we were pretty bummed but Ray got another crew together last minute and we were able to go. The captain and staff came in on their day off- they went above and beyond to make sure we had an incredible experience. They were all very knowledgeable and helpful. We couldn’t recommend them enough!! Awesome tour!

Wish Maui Snorekeling Lana Kai had offered to reschedule us to a different, less windy day. I've been on different snorkeling boat trips in Hawaii, and when it was windy, the other companies rescheduled us for a better day. Unfortunately, it was so windy that we didn't get to go to Molokini, we couldn't use the slide and we got sea sick. I never get sea sick, but I had to miss the second half of snorkeling and sit on the boat with about 10 other passengers that were not feeling well. I also think they need to do a better safety briefing. The captain did a quick safety briefing over the intercom and everyone was just talking and not paying attention. Then one of the guests on the boat walked down the ladders like they were stairs (instead of facing the ladder), and when a big wave hit us, she went flying, fell into two other passengers (into my kids) and almost knocked out her teeth on a bench. Would have been better if the crew had made everyone pay attention and demonstrated what the captain was saying about do's and don'ts.on the boat. Might have been an off day, but my family didn't really enjoy the boat trip. We had more fun snorkeling at a lot of the beaches in Maui and saw way more fish and turtles.

Best snorkeling experience ever! I can’t say enough good things about this tour and the fantastic crew members. For starters, The Captain is very knowledgeable and informative. Before we even boarded he came out to introduce himself and lay out the itinerary for the day. He was very engaging through the whole tour and really made it fun. The crew members were very hospitable and frequently checking in on all the guests. They made us feel safe and comfortable. The snorkeling itself was beautiful and we did not leave disappointed.

We would like to give a shout out to captain Spence and his crew with the snorkeling class for the new snorkelers and how his crew looked after us while in the water! The amenities such as ALL the gear, breakfast and lunch, and ample seating was appreciated! We will whole heartedly recommend their services to all our friends! We will definitely come back and use them again! Mahalo!!

Some of the best snorkeling of my life! Amazing masks/ equipment, the worlds most beautiful waters, good food, and seeing so much wildlife (Hawaiian Sea Turtles, too many fish to name, and rare seals!). It is truly fun for everyone. Captain Spencer and his crew know exactly what they’re doing! My six year old daughter did this as well with no problem for an hour, and loved the slide when she was done snorkeling. An extra note on how thoughtful they are at Maui Snorkeling, they even have prescription eye masks! It is truly fun for everyone!!

Excellent experience with a hospitable and experienced staff. Captain was very friendly with great sense of humour. He opened the boat for jumping in the water at turtle spot. My kids loved jump and slide experience. I felt safe with highly trained staff keeping an eye on all guests in water.

Great snorkeling experience. We have two small kids that loved it, especially the slide. The crew were great with getting the right fitting equipment and making sure everyone was safe and getting the best snorkeling experience. We would definitely book again.

Had the BEST day with Captain Spence and his fabulous crew! They helped get my 4 year old super comfy in the water and we both had a blast down the slide! Big big mahalos!!

The first part of the tour was too windy. If it's too windy to inflat the slide, it's too windy to snorkel. I was very disappointed that the crew didn't recognize that up front and go to a different location. The second half of the tour was much better and that made the tour acceptable. I didn't think we could bring our own equipment but should have. The snorkel equipment provided was old and didn't work well. The snorkels were not dry so the wind and waves made the equipment even worse. Bring your own snorkel equipment (no full face mask is allowed). The crew did a nice job with logistics on the boat but again, the captain should have found a better location rather than the regular location due to unacceptable wind and waves.

It was a lot of fun. Great crew! Very welcoming and helped us throughout the trip. They told us about all the good spots for snorkeling and where to find turtles. We also saw beautiful fish, octopus and eels. The only thing we missed was good rum punch 😔. Nevertheless, highly recommend this tour company with families!!

What an amazing experience. Captain Spencer and his crew made the trip so much fun. If you plan on snorkeling on Maui, go with these guys. The larger catamarans are impressive to see but the experience of the lani Kai II with this crew made it friendly and personal.

We booked this tour for 7/4/21. The crew so extremely helpful and knowledgeable. My husband booked a snuba experience for himself and I wasn't sure if I wanted to do it too. They suggested I do the training because I could always change my mind to not do it. They do not charge you until the regulator is in your mouth. I did not snuba, I was enjoying snorkeling and didn't want to get worry about the ear pressure. My husband did and he enjoyed it but the pressure did get to his ears. Also if you plan to snorkel or snuba having a mustache doesn't help. He was constantly getting water in because the seal wasn't good. They also have a lot of sunscreen on the boat which was very helpful with the intense Hawaii sun. The views were amazing and we saw lots of fish! The only reason I and not giving a 5 is because we had to ask about the slide, that my two kids were so excited about, and they blew it up only to immediately take it down because of wind. It was a huge bummer. So don't tell your kids about the slide just in case it's too windy.

We have been coming to Maui for over twenty years and each time we look forward to our time snorkeling and snubaing with the Lana Kai crew! They never fail to deliver. This time we saw amazing fish, an eel, and an octopus. We would never go with anyone else!
