The aquarium is cool, but there was no information on when the presentation and shows start, which caused us to miss the 3d humpback one. Staff at the ticket counter should have provided this information but instead were unfriendly and disinterested. The name of the person at the counter was Ashley. Definitely expected better service for the price we payed.

Nice 4 star experience at 5 star prices but everything in Maui seems twice reasonable price! $50 per grown up to supervise kiddos at $40 a pop seems excessive. Solid 2 hours of entertainment for young family, debate if that is worth $200 ... plus parking. Several interactive timed presentations didn't go. Nice little kid play ground burned energy though decidedly little kids and small (no where near on par with world class facilities like Calgary Zoo playgrounds) TIP IF international with data off, use wifi and scan parking paycode at front desk to avoid data usage. Parking is quite pricey and nuisance as QR code based which sucks for cell phone data if foreign visitor... sure would be more convenient if parking could be purchased with admission. Also parking time dependent so guess length of stay

Maui ocean center is a must go to experience marine life , it’s a very educational and pleasant adventure, the staff was just amazing, we also went to the gift shop it was very nice I highly recommend it if you are visiting Maui To Maui ocean center Mahalo

There is much to see and do at the center. The skubba driver feeding fish was interesting. He was able to interact with the crowd via audio communication, describing many of the fish that came up to the aquarium window.

We did this on our last day in Maui, I wasn’t expecting much & guessed this place will be a typical one hour aquarium but we were honestly blown away with the diversity of exhibits. This is perhaps the closest you can get to watch & observe Hawaiian sea turtles. 3-D movie was a cherry on top. Parking is paid though but if you combine it with lunch, 5 hour parking charge is easier to justify.
