We had a great ride on the Seiko II last week! We were a group of two adults and an eleven year old. Being winter season, we did have to reschedule once due to high swells, but communication was great and we were able to go out the next day. Our guides were awesome and made the trip a lot of fun. Because of the high swells the day before, the air was very salty and unfortunately the views of the coast were very hazy. Obviously not the fault of the tour, and it was still incredibly beautiful. We were able to get into the mouth of the sea caves but couldn't go all the way in because of the waves. The sandwiches for lunch were good! We were able to see bottlenose and spinner dolphins right next to the boat, and even a whale off in the distance. Overall a great experience and I would definitely go with this company again, maybe for a sunset cruise next time!

What a great tour of the Na'pali Coast! Captain Mike and his crew told great historical information and stories about the area. He found calm waters for snorkeling and floated along pods of dolphins twice. There were a few whales too. The boat was large and pretty steady in rough water. Book this trip if you can!

Such a great ride!! Rhi, our guide was a delight. So fun and so adorable! We had 12 whale sightings and The NaPali Coast was breathtaking. Our group was small and intimate, only 16 people , so we were able to connect as a group easily. What a great way to spend an afternoon in paradise. We stopped and enjoyed a beautiful sunset on the way back to land and I noticed every couple snuggling at the end. A very memorable day for sure.

This trip with Makana Charters is worth it, best time spent in Kauai...tour/boat crew guys totally awesome, kept us engaged and extremely safe while showing us all the best of the coast line! Fantastic snorkeling, location for this was perfect!! Lunch was excellent! Everything about the day spent on this boat was absolutely amazing, thank you guys!!!!! Mahola!

Amazing from beginning to end. First off, the staff were professional, safety conscience and fun. The sights met all expectations: dolphins swimming in our wake, beautiful views of the NaPali coast, sea caves and coastal points of interest. Well worth the cost.

Had a fantastic time on the morning boat ride to see the Napali coast on the Seiko boat. We saw lots of dolphins and the views of the coast were wonderful. Thoroughly recommend! A really lovely company - the crew were so friendly and fun and everything was organised perfectly! We felt so safe on board and loved hearing all of the history of the area too. Thank you for a lovely morning!

Rhi and Kana were a terrific team. So skilled and so friendly. They made the atmosphere fun and light, just like you want on a boat. We found dolphins and moved as close to the coast as was possible with the waves. They shared so much information about the NaPali coast and how to access the beaches, trails, and lookouts.

We had a blast with Captain Ron, Conner and Adam. Beautiful Napali coast. Water was beautiful and calm ish, and clear. Catamaran was nice and smooth. No one on board got sick. It was a beautiful day on the water. We also saw dolphin pods twice

Exceptional Experience with Makana Charters! Makana Charters gave us an unforgettable Napali Coast boat tour in Kauai. The captain and staff were absolutely amazing—so caring, respectful, and genuinely attentive throughout the entire trip. We were blown away by the breathtaking Napali mountains, the stunning coastline, and the beautiful waterfalls. The team shared so many interesting details and history about Kauai, which made the experience even more special. We also enjoyed snorkeling, dolphin watching, and taking in all the scenic views. This was my first trip with my mom and sister, and we all truly loved every moment. The sandwiches were delicious, the drinks were great, and the overall atmosphere on the boat was fantastic. I would highly recommend Makana Charters to anyone visiting Kauai. If you want an exceptional Napali boat tour, this is the one to choose!

Best tour ever! Makana and crew were awesome and so knowledgeable and friendly! They made the experience a 10/10! Seeing a pod of dolphins was the cherry on top. Something to note - the directions pin seems to be wrong on Viator. It’s a couple blocks before that pin. You’ll see a big sign and someone wearing a red and yellow shirt. :)

This is a great boat tour to see the Napali valley! The crew is doing their best to ensure an unforgettable experience. We saw dolphins, turtle and whale during the trip. We rode the waves along the coastline- truly a thrilling ride! Loved it!
