My wife and I just finished our coastal charter (09-11-25) and all I say is that it was amazing! The crew and captain were absolutely phenomenal, professional, and enthusiastic. lunch was provided and the captain stopped multiple times showing us the sea turtles, coves, and also got to snorkel. If anyone is hesitant on which charter to go with, make sure book with Makana charters. You will not be disappointed.

Makana Charters is a must for any trip to Kauai. Captain Mike, Lilliana, and Lionel know how to do a boat tour. Not only are they knowledgeable of all the sights and locale (Hawaii being in their blood, after all), and provide snorkling gear for a little up-close-and-personal aquatic visits, but they are beyond hospitable and personable. My family did the morning tour on 9/2 with Captain Shawn. He and Kana (not sure how to spell his name - sorry!) we're so fun and informative. It was absolutely the highlight of our trip and we appreciate them sharing their beautiful island with us!
