Best group tour of Napali Coast yet! The Amelia K was the perfect size boat to get up close to sea caves, waterfalls and wildlife. Tour guides were friendly and capable and treated everyone like family. So much fun!

It was absolutely beautiful! The captain did a great job and told us all about the different areas on the Nepali coastline. I got seasick horribly, but the man helping me was wonderful and really went all out to help me feel better. This is a wonderful crew and with the exception of being so sick, an awesome experience.

**Makana Charters Na Pali Coast Tour – October 31, 2025** *5/5 Stars – An Unforgettable Adventure!* Hands down one of the best experiences we’ve had in Kauai! We booked the Na Pali Coast boat tour with Makana Charters on Halloween 2025, and it was pure magic from start to finish. The moment we left Port Allen, the crew’s energy set the tone — friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about the island. As we cruised along the dramatic Na Pali coastline, the views were jaw-dropping: towering sea cliffs, lush valleys, and cascading waterfalls plunging straight into the ocean. The captain skillfully navigated into sea caves and under waterfalls — moments we’ll never forget. Wildlife sightings made it even more special: **Dolphins spun and leapt alongside the boat like they were performing just for us. **Honu (green sea turtles) popped up near the shore while people on our trip were snorkeling. A rare Hawaiian monk seal lounged on a secluded beach — our guide explained how endangered they are and why this sighting was so special. The history lesson was a highlight too. Our guide shared rich stories of ancient Hawaiian settlements, heiau (sacred sites), and how the Na Pali coast remains one of the most untouched and culturally significant places in Hawaii. We even saw hidden beaches only accessible by sea. Snorkeling stop: Crystal clear water, vibrant fish, and the crew made sure everyone felt safe and included. Snacks and drinks were plentiful, and the boat was clean and comfortable. Book early — this tour sells out fast, especially in peak season. Morning departure gave us the best light and calmer seas. 2nd time in 2 years on the Billy. Was nice to see Eli again and the skipper. She was awesome and both were very engaging and spoke with everyone on the vessel. Very Professional operation. Boat and all gear very clean, up to date, nothing worn or tattered. Amelia K boat cuts and rides thru the waves better than other V haul or catamaran boats I have experienced. Captain and Crew were very personable extending themselves to ensure you are enjoying your trip. I highly recommend this company.

Had a wonderful time. We took a helicopter ride the day before and the views were incredible. Took a boat tour this morning and views were different. Breathtaking!!! Staff were very helpful and informative. Saw baby dolphins!!

Everything we wanted and more! We rented the whole boat as a family as a breeding event. The crew is so knowledgeable about the island and the Na Pali coast. We heard all kinds of geology and anthropological fun facts from them. All great personalities. Went snorkeling, saw dolphins, learned about the epic cliffs. All of our family had so much fun!

I highly recommend Makana Charters for their morning Nepali Coast/Snorkel cruise. Captain Mike is very knowledgeable regarding the Nepali Coast. The crew were fabulous and friendly. Not to worry, they know exactly what to do when someone gets seasick as I did!

Makana Charters is THE company to book for tours and snorkeling on the Na Pali Coast in Kauai. My husband and I had the best experience with them on the Amelia K. We were smiling and laughing the entire trip! Mike was our captain and Lionel and Shelby were our crew - all three were fabulous, knowledgeable, hospitable, and so kind. They are a Hawaiian owned and operated company who are so passionate about Hawaiian history and showing tourists an amazing time. We even saw dolphin pods (with babies!), sea turtles, tons of fish, and seals! 100/10 experience!
