Madame Tussauds was fabulous ! The entrance has a statue of Dwayne The Rock" Johnson ! Which was enough to lure me in! My fav part was the "horror section" of Hollywood films inside the museum ! Just loved it! All statues are very real looking and staff is very helpful

First of all, the tickets were very high prices I’m in literally to just see the waxed celebrities way too much, the entire floor was not opened just because there wasn’t even going on. Why did you take the money first in first place? You must inform the customers before buying the ticket When we went on the top floor and asked to go inside the girl with a very rude face said us to go down I mean how can you say as we paid for it and when I asked did I pay for it? she said yes with a rude face Unacceptable not recommending anyone with that shitty price to look at those girls face no you should be sorry? How long private event? We just ask whether we can go inside or not even though we paid for it she was a rude face said us no you cannot go as there’s a event going on it. I mean you need to inform us down when we buy the tickets this is unacceptable behaviour I will not correct such behaviour at all not recommending anyone to go and just see the wax tissue standing there such a poor service and on top the washrooms were clean but there were no tissue paper at all with no hand wash no paper towel I mean how am I gonna do? What am I gonna do there? So dirty? That was the service for? I don’t know freaking $400???

We spent 5-days in New York, in August 2023, and were lucky to hear about the New York Pass by Go City. We selected the New York Pass Explorer that allowed us to select the number of attractions we wanted to visit during our stay and offered up to 50% off normal admission prices. We were staying in Mid Town and found ourselves by Madame Tussauds at around 8pm. My previous experiences of wax works have always left me feeling underwhelmed but my wife and son wanted to visit. Last entry was at 9pm but the ticket attendant was friendly and helpful, confirming that we not only had time to view all the attractions but also catch the Marvel Universe 4D Movie (included with our passes) before closing. Immediately on entering, I realised that the wax works were much better quality than those I’ve seen previously and the celebrity effigies were much more relevant and engaging for the whole family. In addition, the celebrity figures were positioned in settings with backdrops and lighting that made for fantastic photo opportunities. This was really well considered and executed. My wife wanted to be photographed with the likes of Lady Gaga, Beyonce, Harry Styles, Ed Sheeran, Bruce Willis and Brad Pitt. My son loved all of the TV sets and Marvel characters (especially Stan Lee). Personally, I was happy to have a picture taken alongside Lord and Lady Baden-Powell (the respective founders of Scouts and Guides). Because there was fewer people towards the end of the evening we were able to see the wax works and watch the 4D Movies in around an hour and a half. The Madame Tussauds in London might have the privilege of being the original (opening in 1835). However, the New York location is the definition of an ‘attraction’ and, in my opinion, is a must for the 60 million visitors a year that visit Time Square.

A trip to Madame Tussaud’s in NYC with my brother was interesting. I noticed that the classic ‘Chamber of Horrors’ exhibit was given short thrift, in favor of a variety of cultural and pop music celebrities. The historical and political figures were very well done. A visit is recommended.

The museum management stopped us from visiting one entire floor because of an event they rented out the floor for. Either inform the visitors about this in advance or give them discounts for not being able to make all floors accessible.
