Did not expect how awesome it would be. It was incredible! So much fun for the family. If you have the time and love Legos, this is the place to be.

We were so excited to go to Legoland with our 6 year old. He's been looking forward to it for weeks because he loved the one in San Antonio. The staff were friendly and none of my complaints are their fault, but here are my issues: - We bought time slot tickets in advance, but had to wait a long time to get in because of the one staff person helping people buy tickets and letting in summer camp groups. It would have been nice to have someone else scanning for prepay customers -2 out of the 4 experiences were broken/closed during our visit - the playground was so crowded it seemed unsafe and it isn't really a good fit for younger kids or kids of differing abilities. It has 2 sides but they are identical. Maybe add in some easier equipment? - what's the point of entry times if they don't really matter? Also, there were 3 summer camps there and everything was extremely crowded. They have every right to go, but maybe stagger the camps.

If I could give this zero stars? It’s pretty run down and dirty - for the price it’s just not worth it either. Almost $30 per person and when you get to the gift shop everything is 5 times the price you would typically see. You’ll get maybe an hour of activity here of your lucky - it’s over crowded with poorly arranged Lego stations with very little space/legos. The most depressing part maybe what you would expect them to take pride in - I doubt a LEGO master works here … the mini village is covered in dust, dimly lit, and hasn’t been retouched for fallen pieces in quite some time from the looks of it. Save your $$$ - go to the real LEGO store - this place a scam, and I’m sad to say that, children’s experiences should really do better than what’s going on here in KC. :(

We were disappointed in the experience. There was a lot of hands-on building materials of all sizes, but a lot of adults taking up kid space. Our 6 year-old was looking forward to meeting some Lego characters, but none around. We got a packet of cards with activities … but no direction as to how to use. The highlight of the visit was the jungle gym (but we had to BUY socks), and the retail store (where I had to spend more money)

We showed up to have a coffee and watch the kids play. Apparently their Starbucks ran out of coffee by 2 pm. Friendly staff though.
