First time going, Legoland Discovery was a little bit of a disappointment. Not a lot of interactions, most of the Lego activities were unorganized. Car racing, barely had any wheels to build an actual car, by the time we got to the gift shop we saw they had tiny cars for sale, wish those would've been available for purchase inside the actual discovery place. The coolest part about it was the mini land. Legoland didn't even acknowledge it was her birthday. The sea life aquarium was way more interactive and interesting, the people working there interacted with us more. The sea animals were so cool to see, the amazing tunnel. They gave our daughter a pin for her birthday, a prize at the end because she completed the stamp package. I think the aquarium is worth seeing if you decide to go.

Updated 2025: went during weekday was much better. Our little one was able to have a chance to go on the ride and other stuffs . Clean and Very friendly staffs. Our toddler loves this place. He loves the play house , build your own lego area, enjoy a personal cheese pizza on the second level. We enjoyed the Downtown Chicago built with lego blocks, jungle on the first level . We didn’t go in the ride located next to the jungle. I recommend to get there when they open possible, otherwise it gets very crowded.

Employees could do a better job at keeping bigger kids out of the toddler area. When we went there were a lot of 6-8 year olds in the toddler area and no one was monitoring it. Small children got pushed out of an area that was meant to be for them which is not okay. Otherwise this was a fun way to spend a morning with a toddler. The place may not be as bog as you are expecting. There are limited activities and areas but if your child has a longer attention span then you can stretch them out.

Was extremely busy on a Friday before the long weekend, but not a holiday. Lines were huge, so we couldn't do any activity. Usually not too many things to do, but still pretty expensive. I have a membership, so will most likely go again, but will definitely not be making another membership. I'll better buy Lego for that amount and enjoy it at home.

Great place for children of varying ages and especially those who love all things Lego

Great exhibits and very fun, but yet another cool spot for kids that's insanely priced. I'm spending $50 on tickets for just me and my kid to walk around and look at cool Legos. And of course you have to exit through the Lego store.
