Took a 9 year old and 7 year old. Didn't realize how small the site was and how limited the activities were. Filled 3 hour visit going over the same thing a few times. Costly Adventure.

My 5-yr old had a great experience with Legos, you can cover everything in 2 hr - the train ride with magic wand was great but as other reviews mentioned often you won't find the correct lego puzzle pieces in the right places. There's enough to kill time but for almost $30 per person, kid or adult, the extras like 4d movie experience should be made available at least once for everyone.

Was a very fun place to go to got to make little squares upon the labor wall that are probably taken down but it was fun.Took pictures of it very sad right. They had 2 rides inside plus a 4d or 3d experience movie which I personally don't like being showered. With any kind of i've missed, so I'll stay to mine and remove you that I'm no longer a movie theater. But I'll still say it was fun that listened to the kids enjoying themselves. It was made just for them. And I definitely had say that all the kids that were there absolutely enjoyed it.

Got 40% Off for Summer and decided to check this place out with my toddler. We intended to go to Legoland in San Diego earlier this year, but we didn't make it. Parking was a little far, as the lot was busy, and in the Summer, walking across the asphalt is brutal. Luckily there are some trees there to provide some shade! Walked right in, scanned our barcodes, and were advised one of the rides was down due to employees on lunch, but would be back up within the hour. We followed the prompts and began to explore. The play land was fun for my little guy and the 4D movie was fun for all of us and included some sprinkles of rain and wind for effects. The rides were good in quality and one of them reminded me of the Super Mario ride at Universal Studios...only shorter. There were places all over to create your Lego masterpieces, and even race them down a few tracks. We checked out the dance room, but were bored a little too quickly. Overall, this place was fun at the 40% Off Discounted Rate, but I probably wouldn't pay full price. If there was a Monthly Membership that was reasonable, and we lived nearby, I would consider it for sure.

This was an extremely disappointing experience. We went downtown to go to Science City but they were closed for maintenance. So, we decided to take the kids to LEGO Discovery Center. We have been to two other LEGO Discovery locations in the past and had a good time. The Kansas City location is a joke. This place gives LEGO a bad name (even though LEGO doesn't run it). If I pay $155 for my family to do an activity, I expect there to be a lot of fun things to do. This is not the case here. The Ninjago activity was closed because it was broken. They charge more $ for the VR experience too. $ I guess $155 for a family isn't enough. We spent 30 depressing minutes there and then just left disappointed. Do better Merlin Entertainments!!!
