Fun experience for the kids, but they got bored after about 30 minutes. The display models are impressive and huge! There are multiple play areas for kids, including different themes where bricks are available for them to build stuff. Overall not bad, but underwhelming.

Overall this was a great experience. We received the healthcare discount, which made the price very reasonable for our family. There wasn't much direction inside the facility - it was kind of a free for all, but the kids had a great time playing at all the different centers. The facility and restrooms were clean, the staff was constantly picking up Legos and ensuring the place was tidy. The little ride was enjoyable, as was the 4d movie. We didn't interact much with staff, but when we did they were very kind. My only complaint is the food. It was overpriced, the burgers were bland, the nuggets were microwaved into oblivion, and too tough to eat. There was only one girl working the food station during lunch rush, and she was unable to keep up with the demand. The simple order we had took well over 30 minutes to receive, and it was missing items. Definitely eat elsewhere or bring your own snacks. Otherwise it was a great experience, parking was simple, and it was easy to access inside the Springfield Town Center. We will definitely return.

It's a great safe interactive place to let your children's imagination grow. Unfortunately, my children were to tall for the play center that recommended 3' to 5'. Also, my 8, 10 and 11 years seem to have been a bit old for this activity. Definitely a great play area with clean open spaces and places for parents to sit. Just geared for a younger group of children that mine.

Dirty restrooms Very few people there , yet we had to wait for someone to let us in Then wait for someone to let us get on the ride . No staff in the playing area . It's a super neglected place

Waste of time unless your kid likes playing with loose legos.

Great venue for kids obsessed with Lego. Would recommend for kids 5+ as younger kids may not be as engaged. A good afternoon activity for the winter months.

⸻ I think the store itself is great — the sales team is attentive, and the customer service is solid. However, my experience at the Lego Discovery Center was a bit confusing. I was meeting someone there and thought they had already gone up to the second level (the Discovery Center), so I bought tickets at the kiosk for $60. I understand paying $29 for my 9-year-old son, but as a 50-year-old parent simply accompanying my child to a kids’ activity, it felt unreasonable to also pay the same price for myself. If I had my 5-year-old with me too, that would’ve been close to $90 before even buying anything in the store. When my son picked out something, it happened to be $28 — fair enough — but in today’s economy, charging parents full admission just to supervise their kids feels excessive. I get that the rent and operating costs are high, but it makes you think twice about returning. After one visit, most parents might decide it’s easier to just buy a Lego set at the store rather than paying admission for themselves. Fortunately, the staff did refund my $60 once they realized the person I was meeting was actually in the store (not upstairs) with his 12-year-old. We ended up just buying a few items and going out for lunch instead.

Our family always enjoys a trip to LEGOLAND in Auburn Hills, MI! This location is part of the Great Lakes Crossing Mall, right by their fantastic food court. We love to pre-order our tickets, drive there first thing in the morning on a day off from school, spend a few hours building and playing at LEGOLAND and then grabbing something to eat in the food court before heading home. The Merlin’s Apprentice Ride is our favorite, though we all love the 4D movie experiences as well. We’ve also spent lots of time building and racing cars, building under water creatures and Friends vignettes every time we visit LEGOLAND. For smaller children plan to stop at the indoor playground and spend time resting or having snacks between stations. In general we spend 10-30min at each station, depending on the kids’ age and interest when we’re visiting.

My partner and I wanted to go to the legoland portion of it. We were told no entry without kids. Very frustrating- you make Lego sets for adults but don’t let adults in? I want to see the cool mini figurines & city scapes too! The employees told us there would be adult night this Friday but we won’t be in town. A let down.

Rude staff, when I arrived my kids were at the gift shop I wanted to validate parking . The employee said you can only validate if you are going inside Lego land , gift shop doesn’t count . I will never go back!!
