Too expensive for what it is

A great winter time adventure. I was surprised just how much they were able to make it feel like the Lego land theme park. Great way to experience a piece of the park without going and way less money. I wish Disney did something like this. Loved the Lego Philadelphia replica display.

$131 for a family of 4, and IMO is wildly overpriced. Did I mention that’s for only the “base” tickets? While our kids had fun, you’re effectively paying for large scale stations that wont hold an average kid’s attention for more than ten minutes. Our 6 and 4 year olds liked the play gym and interactive ride the most. We were in and out in about an hour. Don’t plan on going back.

If your kids love Legos this is a great place to take them. They have lots of activities and things to build. The different zones are all themed and you can use your imagination to build whatever you would like with all the Legos in the bins. They have food, bathrooms, and free Wi-Fi so you can hang out for hours without having to leave.

This was a second time here…came with our then 5 year old in 2023, and brought our second child (who’s autistic) this time around with our oldest. I will say not much has changed. Some things were a little more run down or not working at all, but there was also new things to do and see. Both my 8 and 7 year old boys seem to have a great time and that’s all that matters. By the end of our visit we allowed the kids to go into the pirate ship, which is tough for me because I like to be in full control of our youngest, but I also don’t want him missing out on things just because he has special needs. He was clearly getting overstimulated while in the ship because I heard kids complaining about him and parents getting mad at his behaviors (for good reason) so an employee pulled him aside to talk to him and I was able to intervene and get him out. The employee was very helpful, understanding and acting appropriately, and for that I am very appreciative! So whoever she was, scheduled on Jan 2 around 4pm, please thank her again for me. All in all though we had fun and it kept our kids very busy, on an otherwise cold day. We would definitely recommend.

Fun place for young children. One downside, you cannot leave and come back in. We were there.during lunch and the cafeteria is lacking quality food. We had an ice cream for lunch (kids did not complain) and ate after we left Legoland.

The museum opens with an extraordinary LEGO skyline of Chicago — clever, detailed, and absolutely stunning. Unfortunately, the rest is really only appropriate for kids six and under. The exhibits are small for the price, many displays are dusty on top (some even vandalized), and the staff seemed disengaged. In the end, it comes across less like a museum and more like a glorified retail setup to sell LEGO sets. The Chicago scene is incredible — but everything beyond it needs real care and improvement.

I was a little disappointed. I expected to see a lot more Lego sculptures. The first room you enter was amazing, it had sculptures of San Antonio city attractions. But then that was it. There were no more rooms with sculptures. You then enter a room that just looks like a kids daycare. Where the kids have free play and blocks. I thought maybe more sculptures would be on the little train ride but no. It was a shooting game (not bad but not what I was expecting). This place is definitely best for 6 and under. Not much for older kids who love Lego or parents. I did not go to the aquatic side. I was in and out in less than an hour. Adult and older kids tickets should be way less since they don’t have much to offer them. PS. The 4D Movie theater was closed off with no signs indicating why or how long. That might have been what made it worth it but I have no idea. It was a little confusing.

To be honest I wasn't impressed. It's more for little kids and not really entertaining the 4D movie needs to be upgraded

I brought my 9 and 10 year old step children and my 2 year old granddaughter. I was very disappointed in the amount of activities available for the 2 year old however I had to pay the same $30 admission fee. Also, several of the interactive attractions were not working. For example in miniland, the ATT stadium lights were not working making it hard to see the players playing football. As a matter of fact, there were several lights out in that section making it difficult to see the structures and their interactive features. I will not be coming back.

Such a great time for adults and children! The price is worth the whole day of fun, my 3 and 10 year old had countless options of things to do. The cafe seating was a bit crowded during lunch but the prices were decent. The staff were extremely friendly and constantly cleaning, the building was spotless.

Not worth the price at all. First time I came here was two years ago for a field trip with my child. They have been asking to go back, so we came today as a family. We reserved a 3.30 time slot. When we got there , the section to enter the play area within LEGOLAND was closed and roped off. So many of us had to stand in the line within the store to ask to be let into the other side, which was extremely unprofessional and inconvenient. We were then met with an extremely unprofessional employee that said we needed to hurry up. Listen, I purchased tickets and reserved my time. I did my part. You guys decided to close up shop well before you should have. We finally get in, kids are having fun. Tell me why you close at 5pm but closed all the rides and started having staff clean around customers trying to enjoy their time at 4.30pm ? 30 minutes before your store is actually supposed to close. My kids wanted to ride the rides again and go into the cinema. It was a huge waste of money and very unpleasant.

very cool displays, a few rides/activities, this attraction is geared more toward Elementary school-aged children/young families. Snack bar prices on par with Starbucks (which they serve). 2 levels, yes, there's an elevator, yes, this place is handicapped accessible. Attached shop has good variety, normal prices for Lego sets. This attraction appears much larger on the website and Google than it is actually is. I took my 16 year old and bought the least expensive passes (no rides, movies, etc) and we were in and out in less than an hour, an that's with stopping for bathroom break, photo ops, and just checking stuff out. Families and visitors with younger kids will definitely get more bang for their buck, here! such visitors can probably expect to spend a few hours here. no adults admitted without being accompanied by at least one child aged 17 or younger.
