This was super fun for the 7 yr old. The 11 yr old girls were kinda bored. The snack bar had not a lot to offer, therefore we left looking for something to eat elsewhere. Also, no coat check in, so leave them in the car.

My son loved the indoor pirate ship playground. He spent over an hour playing there with other kids. We flew by the rest of LEGOLAND, and didn't do much. I wish there was a little more for variety. One of the two rides wasn't working. The bathroom is probably the highlight of the day for me. On the way out I got a small set for my son, the price was labeled wrong. It's a good indoor activity on a cold day, but I probably wouldn't go there more than once a year.

It was a great first time experience with our grandson. The cityscapes display of Lego's was nicely done changing from daytime to night time. They have four short movies that you can watch with a weather experience. That was really fun. You also take a car ride through an area where you get to laser tag bad guys. The interactive area could be a bit cleaner, especially the floors. The selection of items to buy in the store was slim as many shelves were empty. The overall experience was good.

My son is 7 and LOVES legos. He asks for legos for his birthday and Christmas and absolutely loves them. He was excited about Legoland, however was completely disappointed. I was underwhelmed and also felt like it was a complete waste of money. There are were two rides but one was closed. The VR was fun but an add on. There was a 4D movie. Otherwise there were two spaces with legos to do free building. Basically if you have legos at home it’s not worth going. If you have a kiddo visiting and they love legos and you have none and have done all of the other amazing things to do in Chicago, this could then be an option if you are desperate. It was so disappointing of an experience that we were planning a San Diego trip to go to Legoland CA and are now rethinking it.

My son is crazy about Legos. Wants to work for the lego family. Reasonable costs. Snacks and drinks were also not sporting event or ridiculous park prices so that was nice. Everyone was super nice. I remember an Adam at the front door and Nick in the center doing activities. Excellent energy!!! Great with kids. We enjoyed ourselves and spent hoursssss here !! Thank you for an amazing time.
