We went to the Lego Discovery Center in Springfield this past weekend and it was so much fun! I was worried my son (4 years old) was going to be too little to enjoy the activities but it was perfect for him, plus they have a tinier child area that he could enjoy as well with the bigger Duplo Legos and other activities. He loved the car ramps, and even though he couldn’t create many cars himself yet he really loved putting the cars down the ramps that my husband and I built. He rode the train ride 4 times too and really enjoyed that. But the best part of our experience was the 4D movie by far. It was amazing and we never experienced something like that before. We were all laughing, it was even great for adults. We saw the police pursuit movie. This place is great for the whole family! Shoutout to Nicholas Fernandez for the recommendation to take our son here for our birthday!!! 🎉 Will definitely come back again when our son is older.

"Last Entry 90 Minutes Before Closing" is strictly enforced by the employees. We showed up an hour before closing on a Monday where the story was empty with our 2yo son. They didn't let us in. The store part is ok. Inventory was missing of some of the bigger sets of the past year.

It’s a nice place but just get general admission. I paid for photos and Lego figures and did not get either.

Took my 11 year old son here on a Wednesday. We did have some issues at the front while scanning our tickets. The lady at the front kept telling us it was for aquatic life, but it specifically said legoland on it. Someone else came over to help. She informed us that they had transferred to a new system, and she got it worked out, and we were able to get in. Once we were in, we enjoyed everything legoland had to offer. It was not as big as I was expecting, but we still had a great time. My son and husband liked the theater because it made it feel like you were part of the 3D movie. We got him with water and wind. My son was too tall for the playground, so he was disappointed. He tried VR but said it wasn't as fun as he was expecting. My son and husband spent most of their time building cars and racing them. We did stop in at the cafe. They only accept credit or debit cards. The pizza is smaller than I expected and wasn't too good.

Did not get to attend this as it is only allowed to people that have children. I think that is an absolutely discriminatory to not let adults go. They make adult Legos but yet you have to be a kid to go. I don't think that's right.

waste of money

It’s a fun place for kids and there’s a lot for them to look at and play with. The LEGO displays are pretty cool and the staff was friendly during our visit. That said, it felt a bit smaller than I expected and gets crowded pretty quickly. Overall it’s a decent spot if you have younger kids, just manage expectations.
