Great place to visit if you come to Kansas City! The displays was Amazing and Mind blowing.

Took my 9 and 16yr old sons here. We’d been looking forward to it, hoping to just be in the Lego world for a little while. I’d read the reviews online and was cautious. This place might be appropriate for 7 and below. Extremely overpriced/overvalued and there really isn’t anything to do aside from look at LEGO sets (that are really cool, but very dim lighting and kind of far from the barrier so difficult to appreciate fully). It was packed. There is one “ride”. The staff seemed clinically depressed. Bought the minifigures to trade but we didn’t see a single employee there so it was a total waste. There is a really great play area on the 2nd floor for the littles, and a little snack shop. Otherwise it was a total waste of $100 ($30/ticket). There is a short VR experience but it’s a lot extra and not worth it. FYI: there is a large LEGO store in the woodfield mall that has amazing employees and a much better selection of sets.

I would have been happier to buy a $100 Lego kit from the store instead, for the cost of the tickets and lunch. But my grandson likes it.

We had an amazing time! Wasn’t sure what to expect, but the value of buying tickets online for a discount in advance that included both Lego Land and Sea Life was awesome. There were tons of fun things to do and keep your kids entertained for several hours. The food court seemed reasonably priced. The gift shop had lots of great options and excellent price variety.
