It’s just awful to arrive 3 minutes late for the time that you booked for horseback riding to be told that your tickets $300 will not be transferable to the next scheduled tour. Zero effort to accommodate, but much eagerness to accept payment for a service they did not have to provide. A simple “hey don’t worry we can get you on the next tour or a tour tomorrow would have been outstanding, but not here. Service and understanding?? What is that?! Here they will take whatever bonus they can to boost their profit margins in a very ugly way. In all fairness they tell you in the fine print after booking that you should arrive 45 min minimum in advance, but my advise to the people responsible here is to put the note right at the forefront. When you are selecting a 2pm booking it should say in parentheses (arrive 45 minutes before 2 pm)… Writing it later in an email you send is like trying to bait who is paying such close attention. People on holiday are booking last minute and may miss that. Place these instructions before the booking is complete.

Booked an experience to this place. My husband and i were booked for the 2pm horseback riding experience. However, when people are on vacation- people will not read the fine print. 2pm means 2pm. Please very well indicate your tour times. If you want people to come at a certain time, you have to indicate that as the time you want your customers to arrive. Not on fine print. As per customer service, they have a 3pm tour but will not honor our previous payment and wants us to pay again for the same thing. Who in their right mind would want to pay double? In my line of career, if any of my patients come late, i still take them as they are paying customers. It's not like my husband and i arrived during closing time. There is a next availability- but they just want to take our money. Point is, no customer service. People who come here are tourists and are excited to come to a tour- we didn't expect a terrible Honolulu traffic and we have no clue that the indicated time placed in the ticket is not the time they want us to be there. When in service, the right thing is to give service. They could've just moved us to the next availability as we've already paid. We're not scamming people out of a service, but the inconsideration and lack of customer service of this place warrants a 1 star.

On our first trip to Hawaii, we wanted to do some of the most iconic things. I was afraid the Kualoa Ranch would be overly touristy but I was pleasantly surprised. Of course it’s an attraction for tourists, but the guides were very knowledgeable and provided a lot more cultural and historical information than I expected. We did the half day tour with both the movie sights and the secret island, which included lunch. It was a great value for the money as we spent from 9:30am-3pm at the ranch. Jimmy, our tour guide and truck driver on the Hollywood tour was incredible. He was so much fun and kept the 90 minute tour interesting and funny. I also want to make a note as an equine professional that while we didn’t take a horseback ride, the horses looked well cared for and relaxed. I was impressed that all guests and even most of the guides were wearing helmets and the horses had the freedom to chill (not tied up) while they were waiting to be tacked for the next ride. It really exceeded expectations and I would recommend this amazing scenery to anyone.

We did the ocean and the movie set tour, what a trip!!! You made your way to Hawaii, why not add a little spice to it and go into a unforgettable trip within the beauty of the island.!!!

This place is amazing! Must see! Most of the large movie sites are clearly marked. We took a three hour raptor tour. Really recommend this self driving experience! The three hour tour had 6 people, the two hour tour had like 20 atvs. This enabled us to have a really personalized experience. Raymond was great he was able to tell us the history, landmarks, and the spiritual connection with the land and the people. Both tours stop at different locations, so they do not intermingle. Raymond’s stories and contributions made us feel as if we were family, all learning together.

Really enjoyed the entire ATV tour experience! Tour guides Matt and Missy really went above and beyond with helping us take pictures, posing with their dinosaur props, and even highlighting movie scenes we cared about like 50 first dates. Definitely a highlight of our trip!

My wonderful sister treated our party of 4 to the deluxe atv raptor tour! Our guide, Sarah was extremely knowledgeable and attentive! She went out of her way to ensure our visit was spectacular! The story and mission of the ranch is warmed my heart and the grounds and views are breathtaking! They have many tours to choose from....e bike, horses, atv,......a great little market. This is an amazing place and a must visit!

I enjoyed the Jurassic Adventure Tour and the Kualoa Grown Tour. The guides were knowledgeable and friendly. The view was beautiful.

Really fun experience especially with younger kids. Highly recommend this beautiful location to enjoy Hawaii. If staying in Waikiki will make sure to give yourself plenty of time to get an Uber up there for the earlier check in for excursions. Took us about 45 minutes. Other than that highly recommend and enjoy.

Good tour. UTV 2 hour ride was fun. Peter and the other tour guide were good with a mix of humor and history. Ranch itself is beautiful. A bit pricey for the experience provided though.
