I'm sure this tour is amazing when the weather is nice - my review is more about how adverse weather is handled, and after reading many similar recent reviews regarding lack of flexibility and lack of concern for safety, it appears this is a continued issue that management is aware of, but do not care to fix, which is disheartening. First, our tour guide was absolutely amazing, as were the ATV / bike crew that helped escort us out of an unsafe situation on the tour. My low review is more in regards to the fact that safety was not considered when heavy rain was imminent. It was clear before the tour took off that it was going to storm. We repeatedly asked if the tour would be cancelled if it started to rain, as much of this experience relies on having clear visibility (which I'm sure is usually the case -- we understand these storms have been really tough for the island). However, our tour guide told us we'd continue even in the rain, which was fine at first. Ponchos were available for $3 upon purchase. Considering we were going to be in an open vehicle and the tours are quite expensive, it would've been nice for those to be provided. As the tour went on, the rain became extreme and we went on for quite a while, even after flooding became severe and new waterfalls were forming in front of our eyes. We continued on to the point where everyone, including elderly people and children, in our vehicle were completely soaking wet and rain was pouring into the car relentlessly. The tour truly stopped about 15 minutes into the 90 minute tour, and finally, our guide popped up to tell us she "felt unsafe driving" and asked if we wanted to continue anyway. Of course, we said no. The trails are narrow, were flooded, we were soaking wet, and the trails are high up on ledges in some cases which made the situation extremely dangerous. Eventually, an ATV/biking team came out to escort us out safely. We do appreciate the team's expertise and keeping a positive attitude / not scaring us, but after the fact, no refunds were offered even though we left soaked and barely got to see any of the sights due to the fact that 80% of the time we were out there, we were just trying to get back safely. My group and maybe two other groups from our tour attempted to get refunds, and we were only given 50% off. We totally understand no one can control the weather, but these tours should not occur during active rainfall just due to the elevation and how narrow and muddy the trails were. It genuinely felt unsafe and for that reason alone, I think everyone in our group should've been given a full refund without having to ask or fight for it. I'm sure the people who work at Kualoa Ranch are very knowledgable and love what they do - we wish we were able to take full advantage of what I'm sure is an amazing tour, but I implore management to think more about safety in the future. My friend and I would later become trapped in a flash flood on our way home from this tour and had to be rescued by emergency services. We hope everyone stayed safe as this brutal storm passed through and hope Kualoa Ranch will continue to put the safety of their guests first.

Kualoa is a must if you're on Oahu. The scenery is amazing and you'll recognize it from movies and shows. Plus the staff is very knowledgeable and fun.

Really good experience with different outside activities. No waiting to enter the park but we wanted about 10 mins to get on one of the tours.

We chose the movie tour which was fantastic. Just to see the amazing landscape was enough, but the bunkers full of old memorabilia was fun. Lots of great photo opportunities. Our guide was really fun and obviously full of film knowledge!!

Had a rough first experience with Kualoa Ranch, and luckily spoke with Abby with ticket sales and she helped save it. We're hopeful to have a great second swing, and make this a Hawaii trip to remember!

So amazing...even in the rain. We waited a week for the rains to subside, thought they were gone so we went. we got up and left at 630 from Waikiki to arrive for the first tour at 830 as you have to be there 45 min early. we got a descent breakfast and did some shopping and went on our tour Zach our tour guide was pretty amazing and very knowledgeable. we tried to book some of the longer tours but most everything was booked out so we did the adventure tour. due to the rain and road flood out conditions we did some detours to movie sets. the views were amazing even though it was overcast and spitting rain. sitting in the front of the truck was great till the rain started and we all got soaked...even still it was so.ething that makes life long memories and we were thankful we went. The price was pretty high and so was the merch in the gift shop...I guess that's the price you pay for a memory like that. we skipped the luau the evening before for the same price and I'm glad we did it was money better spent. had I known TripAdvisor would charge so much for booking fees I would have booked direct with Kualoa Ranch website, I recommend you do the same. Book far in advance if you can. Well worth the trip and memory if you're coming to Oahu it's top of the bucket list for sure.
