They requires guests to arrive 45 minutes early and insists that “ticket check-in generally takes 30 minutes,” even for the earliest 8:00 AM tour. However, after asking friends who had previously visited and experiencing it myself, I can confirm that check-in only takes 10–15 minutes at most. This policy shows a complete disregard for guests' time and they lied to me just want me to be here early—we ended up wandering around doing nothing for 30 minutes with no meaningful activities offered while we waited. I would say if you are that worried about lateness, how about ask people to arrive 2 hours early like at the airport, or everyone should show up once you open—then guests would know to plan their entire day around not being late, and then let this kind of over-cautious scheduling ruin the flow of mornings. As for the Jurassic Adventure Tour, which we booked for $157 per person after processing fee and tax, it was honestly the most disappointing and least worthwhile tour of our Hawaii trip. It's advertised as 2.5 hours, but the entire thing was done in 2 hours and 10 minutes. Most of the time is spent sitting in an open-air truck looking at repetitive landscapes, with frequent long stops at dull photo spots. They made us stop at several spots with very plain backgrounds and nothing really worth photographing. At some of the photo stops, we wrapped up taking pictures fairly quickly—only to stand around for several more minutes waiting, with nothing else to see or do, while the guide chatted with some guests. But I don’t want to blame the guide for spending so much time chatting, because the tour is designed this way—if they didn’t chat, the tour would have ended even earlier. So I believe the guide was already trying their best to stretch the time. This is not the guide’s fault; it’s the poor design of the tour itself. Kualoa Ranch was by far the least cost-effective tour of my Hawaii trip, and I very strongly do NOT recommend it.

Just had a movie site tour out of the plan. Good to see how large of the ranch and lots of happy and worry-free cows(pipi), very Hawaiian style. Saw lots of movie sites but those part really not that exciting for me. So the price is not that worthy, in my opinion. The views are good but it could be better if sun came out.

The jungle expedition tour guide named Nio was discriminatory. She asked which party arrived first and we had been waiting for half an hour. When she approached us, she ignored us and asked the people behind us, who had someone not even arrived yet.

We did the Deluxe UTV Ride Along tour. Our tour guide, Ale'a did a fantastic job taking us round the ranch and provided lots of island history. He was very engaging and made the tour entertaining. We got a ton of info about the ranch including traditional Hawaiian cultural practices. The ranch is beautiful, the mountain ranges are amazing to see and the environment is quite serene. With the ride along tour we were with the guide at the head of the pack...very little dust to deal with even on an afternoon tour.

I had a very disappointing experience with the pickup service. The pickup staff called me exactly at 10:30 in a very rude and commanding tone, asking where I was and even threatening that they would only wait five minutes. Since I was at the wrong location, the staff became angry and spoke in a very forceful and disrespectful way. In my other tours, the pickup team always called ahead to confirm the time and location and spoke politely. This time, the experience felt unprofessional and already ruined the start of my day. For future customers, I strongly recommend that you call the company in advance, confirm the pickup time and location twice, and make sure you avoid dealing with rude service if it happens. The pickup is the first impression of the tour, and unfortunately, mine was one of the worst.
