Fantastically fun evening
Don't miss this fantastic activity. We had a roaring good time. From the margarita lesson to the finished tacos it was one of the best experiences I've had recently. The live music and dancing was a blast. Most definitely book this one and you won't be sorry.

Juan more ya a great way to taste different food outside the tourist zone. Safe walking tour was not strenuous. Try it!
We loved Milton! He made sure any food allergies were addressed and encouraged us to try all the local specialties! Friendly and attentive to our needs. Great host! Ah and the tequila at the end muy bien!!

What a great experience! Chef Issi welcomed us to his beautiful home. Very informative and even more delicious. All in our group had a hand in prep work. Highly recommend this.

Very enjoyable and interesting food tour.
Hector was a great guide and took us to some places we would not have found on our own. All the food was wonderful and we went back for lunch to one of the restaurants a few days later.

All the food was amazing. Milton was a great and knowledgeable guide and gave great recommendations at each place. We went back to a few restaurants afterwards to try more of their options. There was so much food so pace yourself

Fun mix of cooking, margaritas, and music!
Super fun experience! We visited a tortilla factory, a butchers, a bakery and a vegetable market. He bought the ingredients for our cooking class at each of these locations and then we all went back together to a beautiful and clean space that in the evenings is a restaurant as well. The whole experience was super fun and he showed us some good cooking hacks. I was a little bit worried about being on my own for this cooking class, but I felt immediately comfortable and welcome. There were about 16 people in the class and we all had our own little cutting board and knife and juicer. We made margaritas and he kept the bar open through the whole class. Plus, there was a drummer who also sang and played music and he was awesome! Great mix of popular American songs as well as Mexican music. We made the beef birria, street tacos, guacamole, and pico de gallo. All was delicious!

Enriquez is a great host....
Enriquez is a great host. He had lots of information to impart on the market shopping tour. Transportation to his home was very comfortable and his kitchen set-up was perfect for our group. His family, who worked with him were organized, and kept everything extremely clean. We enjoyed participating in making the salsa and dishes which were delicious. Definitely an all-round great experience

Great tamale cooking
Great experience with Carolina Loved going to tortilla factory and the grocery store buying the ingredients. Our tamales were excellent. Very fun day. Oh. And the tequila tasting was fun too.

Don’t Miss This Tour!
If you want a fun, enjoyable, informative, and yummy tour of San Jose, this tour is for you. Alan, our guide, entertained us with stories and history of San Jose while we sampled tacos from local, small taco shops. And they ALL were delicious. We ended the night with a private tequila tasting, which was the perfect capstone to a very enjoyable and memorable evening.

Carolina was amazing. The class was so fun. Even my non-cooking husband loved it!. The food and drinks were great. I would highly recommend it.

Great activity for small group of friends.
Our second time taking this class. First time was before the pandemic worth a larger group. The smaller groups allow for more hands on experience and better dynamics among the participants. Great tips on cooking authentic Mexican cuisine and the dinner we helped the create was delicious.

The Best food Tour Ever!
Miguel is the absolute best! He knows the history of food from all the regions of Mexico as well as the food culture and origins and history up to today. This was the best food tour ever in all of Mexico! Miguel is the best! If you take this tour you want him to take you there for real!
