Best activity in Cabo!
This was a highlight of our trip! My 15-year-old daughter and I attended a Wednesday (Beef Birria) class. We loved visiting the various stores (tortillas, produce, bakery, and butcher) for ingredients, and learning more about the city, before arriving to Issi's home. We learned how to mix perfect margaritas (both virgin and regular), including how to choose the best limes and squeeze them twice as easily, how to prepare pico de gallo, and moving on to roasting and grinding spices for the beef. My daughter got to sear the beef (probably wise as my fellow attendees and I were a few margaritas in by then!) and Issi taught us how to create delicious tacos with special tips to make a beautiful meal. We will absolutely do another class next time we visit!

A must do excursion!
We did this class in 2022 and are so glad we did it again. The family run business is so welcoming and the experience is so well run! The other participants were great to spend time with, the live music was a blast, drinks are plentiful and the food is incredible.

We were taken in the van...
We were taken in the van to Issi’s house. First thing we were shown how to do is to make margaritas. He showed us away to juice, limes that none of us had ever seen before. I don’t think after the lines reduced we made margaritas that were fantastic using top-notch ingredients and technique. We proceeded to be taught how to properly do mis en place for the dishes we were about to prepare. Of course, I knew margarita skills needed to be repeated many times in order to not forget ha ha! You were then walked through the preparation of a seafood paella tacos with flounder, amazing pico de gallo, two different kinds of guacamole. Shrimp fajitas, even more things that I can’t recall. The result was a meal that was extraordinary and as good as or better than any meal I’ve had in my 70 years. I cannot recommend his class by Issi . I will give it as many stars as they allow and then throw in a bunch more. Every person in the group said the same thing. The majority of us announced we will be coming back to do it again whenever we are in, Cabo.

Best Activity in Cabo!
First, Issi is an amazing, professionally trained chef, a great teacher, very informative and a fun and engaging personality. Second, he helped create a wonderful connection with the class - we became great friends. Third, our group was a unique combination of people from all over the USA and a ton of fun. We will be friends forever! Lastly, the food and drinks were amazing, super delicious!

It was a blast!
This place was professional from the start. Booking was easy. The meeting location was easy to find There were ten people in our class They were a good group that was set on having a good time (and the tequila sure helped). Our class made pork and chicken tamales. We made both banana leaf and corn husk tamales. Two different guacamole, red and green sauces, and flour tortillas rounded out what we made. After meeting at the restaurant, Issi (one of the owners) gave the group a history of the area and his family business. We then loaded up in a new van to shop at different markets. Issi then took us to his home where he and his wife welcomed us into their chef's kitchen. It was a great experience with margaritas being made while cooking and eating :-D. This was an easy and fun experience. Our time wrapped up with tequila tasting from several different kinds/brands back at their restaurant (Mercabo's). "Thank you" to Issi and family. We really enjoyed it!

What an experience! Issi invitied us into his home for the cooking class! We made margaritas, pico de gallo, 2 kinds of guacamole, corn tortillas, and mole poblano - all if it absolutely delicious! Such a fun experience - definitely recommend!

Such a fun experience! 10/10
We had the best time during our food tour with Miguel! He was so fun and knowledgable and showed us all a great time. I attended with my husband and we instantly hit it off with the rest of the attendees. Everyone was so friendly and excited to be there. I have been on food tours in several cities over the years and they usually include small samplings of local foods. Not this one! The portions were big and they just kept coming! We even got a tequila tasting thrown in at the end. I highly recommend this tour! My only suggestion is to show up on an empty stomach!

Yummy cooking experience
Francisco met us at the market. We got Masa, Chicken, peppers, onions, garlic, tomatillo’s, avocados and a few other things. Off we went to his home. After making hibiscus margaritas, we got to work and made delicious chicken tamales, and various sauces. The chili verde was my favorite. While waiting we made some delicious guacamole. Luce and Francisco were wonderful hosts, and patient teachers. I highly recommend this experience. The finished dish was amazing. Thank you for a lovely day.

Fun Food Experience!
This tour is absolutely amazing and highly recommended. My wife and I had a fun experience thanks to Miguel, our guide. He was extremely kind, funny, and super informative. He taught us a lot about the different Mexican states and cultures which translated to eating trying the different tacos in the tour. Food was absolutely tasty, and honestly a lot (we were full by the last stop!). The tequila tasting at the end was the absolute best finish to the tour. Thank you again Miguel for the tour. We definitely recommend this tour if you’re looking for a fun and tasty experience.

Eat Drink and be Merry
Shopping the markets to source ingredients was fun. The venue is perfect especially having live music! The Chef has everyone participate and creates a delicious meal. The margaritas are delish!

Best cooking class we’ve...
Best cooking class we’ve ever been to. First we went shopping for the ingredients for the dishes we were going to make. Learned a lot about buying fresh fish. Very informative. Then we went to a tortilla shop that made excellent fresh tortillas. Finally we visited a produce store which had beautiful fresh produce that we would use in our meal. Our chef was a very knowledgeable person and taught us how to make excellent margaritas with fresh ingredients. No margarita mix! Then we prepared a delicious meal. We left happy and full!!! Would definitely do this again. Highly recommend this experience.

Amazing Cooking Experience
I went to this cooking class with 4 girlfriends. We had an amazing time!! We made 5 different salsas and Birria tacos. Everything was delicious!!!! Chef Enrique was so wonderful. He first took us on a Market tour to buy the ingredients for our lunch. He let us give input to the menu. Then we went back to his beautiful home to have the class. His wife and assistant were so gracious. Enrique led us through the cooking of 5 different salsas, and beef birria tacos. He also made us delicious mango margaritas. Enrique knew that we were celebrating birthdays and bought a beautiful, delicious chocolate leche cake. How thoughtful!! Enrique made this experience so special for us. This is the second time I have had a class with Enrique, and I have had other friends take classes from him too. I highly recommend Enrique's cooking experience for a fun, delicious afternoon. After the class, he sent us all the recipes. Thank you Enrique for making this experience so special for us. We will be back :).
