Product: Bucharest: Markets and Mahallas Small Group or Private Tour

Visiting the DC area to be with grandkids, age 6 and 9. Wanted a a structured but fun experiential tour. This fit the bill as 2 hrs was the right time focus wise. The electric vehicle was red and fun to ride around town in. There were 5 of us plus tour guide. Peter, our guide, was animated and kept everyone’s interest. Enough stops at important landmarks to stretch our legs and take photos, buy a hot cocoa, etc. kids retained enough of the experience to relate to others when home. I especially enjoyed the MLK monument which I had never seen before. Highly recommend for young families.

Fabulous tour where we learned a lot about Bucharest, and Romania, both then and now. We went to places I'd never have gone on my own, and ate food I wouldn't have tried otherwise. Elina was great! So knowledgeable and patient. Loved that we had a little time at Ober market to shop. An overall great experience... so glad I took this tour!

This tour is a must at the start of tour Venice break. We had Ludo and as a local she was extremely knowledgeable and really friendly. The venues we visited were outstanding and we followed up on a recommendation for dinner that evening. Fantastic traditional cuisine with a fun and friendly atmosphere throughout the tour.

Although the individual meals were good, there were some things that would enhance this experience. As we were eating with our hands on our first stop, having wet tissues would have been appropriate. The market stop was very interesting and good food, however the sanitation was suspect. Our guide spoke good english. However, more cultural discussions would have enhanced the experience.

We really enjoyed it and it was a great way to spend an evening. The tastings were lovely and gave us a wonderful introduction to the Moroccan culture and food. Our lovely guide was kind, educated and had excellent communication skills. We were well fed, met other interesting travellers and came away satisfied and pleased. What more can we ask for!!

Awesome food and history of the city! Our guide was an excellent resource for navigating the city as well. We went to 4 different places and had a variety of excellent foods. She was thoughtful about the foods that were chosen and made sure we liked them before ordering them. We didn’t have to wait long at each stop and our group was a great size (only 6) so we got a lot of good time/information with our guide. Highly recommend!

Chip was a wonderful guide. He was very knowledgeable about the history of New Orleans and its food culture. The food was great (obviously) and the others on the tour were amazing as well.
