Authentic tour

Very authentic experience and our tour guide Thanh was so great - he was so friendly and enthusiastic with lots of local knowledge

Nice trip on the Mekong Delta tour

Having only a short stay in Ho Chi Minh City I wanted to see outside of the big city. I chose the Mekong Delta tour for more of a nature and local tour. Our guide Thao was wonderful. She was very knowledgeable and friendly. I liked the many stops on the tour and lunch was great. I recommend taking a day trip with Intrepid and Thao.

Mekong River Cruise

We had a fantastic day! Thao was an incredible guide. She shared so many facts about the history, culture and life in Vietnam and had a pleasant, friendly manner. She kept us on schedule without making us feel rushed at any time. We sampled local produce along the riverbank stops and were able to support some of the local businesses by buying their produce ( without feeling at all pressured). Overall a fantastic immersive and cultural experience!

Getting to Know Local Foods

Fun experience that showed different aspects of the food culture - from Mitsukoshi’s food hall, to local side-street cafes serving local fare. Appreciated getting to experience different local food and drink, and our guide was a great host. We really enjoyed our time and samplings.

Awesome tour!

May was a fantastic tour guide. Super knowledgeable about the food, the culture and great at sharing local knowledge to help me fee more comfortable in a big foreign city. All of the food was more adventurous than the sushi or ramen I have been going for on this trip which was a good way to get out of the comfort zone in a safe environment. Also loved that this was a small group. There were only 3 of us plus May so it felt like an intimate evening of exploring eateries with new friends, rather than a tour. Thank you May!
