Amazing tour with Erik of the Brooklyn Heights and DUMBO
Amazing experience with Erik on the Brooklyn Heights and DUMBO tour. Fantastic stories that Erik shared and the food tasting was absolutely great (and plenty). Were French and Foodies so we know what we’re talking about 😉 This was above expectations and Erik is an amazing guide. We absolutely recommend the tour.

An amazing tour with a very knowledgeable tour guide. I was fortunate that I was the only one that signed up and was grateful to Astrid for tailoring it to my interests. I would definitely recommend it to my friends. Thank you Astrid!

A no show
No one arrived to meet us and trying to arrange refund with Viator. We arrived on time at correct location. No one was there to meet us, we contacted local number, no answer, left messages, no reply. Also contacted Viator who replied half hour later with details of local operator whom we had already been trying to contact. No effort made to contact us either. Waited for over 50 minutes until we gave up and considered have we been scammed.

Monrmarte excellence
The guide, made the experience. She led us slowly with rewards ( croissants) and plenty of stops and a doable route uphill until we painlessly reached Sacre Coer. It was very full of facts and also story which broke things up for us. Would a 10/10 be appropriate?

Great tour guide! This Seattlite learned a lot about coffee and Seattle!
Our guide was Sam, he was knowledgeable, kind, thoughtful, and fun! I learned a ton and tried coffee I wouldn't have otherwise. Both the Cofftail and mushroom coffee were things I normally wouldn't try. They were both delicious. Good blend of Seattle + coffee history. It was very cool to hear about the process, then see it at the end in action at Starbucks reserve. The best part, though, was the personality and individuality Sam brought to the tour. From his sense of humor to knowing the people at some of the stops, it's clear Sam is from, and cares deeply about, Seattle. Would recommend to friends!

Great tour for the whole family
We booked a private tour to better suit our elderly parents and David from intrepid was amazing. He never made us feel rushed and really catered for the parents. It was so special to share the rich history with more of the family and it was great to have a guide that was a clear communicator who patiently answered all our questions.

Chicago tour was amazing
My friend and I had a most excellent tour of Chicago. Loved the food and locations we visited. The tour guide Chicago Dave was a blast and very knowledgeable. I asked one question at the beginning and totally fulfilled our request.

A coffee drinkers must
This tour was my son’s idea. I had absolutely no expectations. I was pleasantly surprised with the tour. I learned a lot about Seattle and about coffee. I really appreciated that upfront, he let everyone know that he wasn’t going to get political. Our tour guide, Lee, was amazing.

The guide is very knowledgeable, friendly and humorous. It was a very pleasant and meaningful tour. I’ve been living at Toronto for almost 10 years and I still learned a lot from the tour. All the beer are included in the fee as well so you don’t need to worry about it. The tasting experience was amazing and the vibe was great. We also visited the St. Lawerence market.

Really enjoyed the tour, our guide was fab, lots of opportunities to ask questions and lots of good information. We went to places that we would not have visited on our own, we would recommend this tour.

Booking easy and instructions to meeting point clear. There were 5 of us on the tour and our guide, Ludo from Lido, was welcoming, friendly, helpful and patient. It felt like all the places we visited were genuine, local establishments which is what we wanted. We had two food tasters and a drink in each location. In most places, there was a small choice of options e.g sardine or shrimp, which flavour filled sandwich etc. Ludo had checked dietary requirements when we met. There was a nice mix of food, much of which we wouldn't have tried otherwise. My favourite was the shrimp in saur. We were comfortably full by the end of the tour. The tour took about 2-2.5 hours and involved a fair amount of walking so we also got to see parts of the city and find our bearings, particularly helpful as we had only just arrived. We had 20% off the usual booking rate when we booked and this made the tour reasonable value for money, I am not sure I would say the same if paying full price.

Taste and Learn
The amount of knowledge of different foods and the origins of the different samples we enjoyed provided us a new perspective of the history of what is available to eat.
