Our tour guide Dash was very knowledgeable providing a lot of details on the history of the area we toured. Walking was at a comfortable pace, often checked in with group to ensure everyone was doing ok. Food was good and was enough for lunch.

Rozit was knowledgeable and interesting, this tour was well worth in. The home cooked lunch was an amazing experience, watch out for the wine.

We went on the tour with our 18 yo daughter on our first night in Venice and had an awesome experience! Our guide Alice was so personable and knowledgeable! Excellent food and wine stops and learned how to order like a local. We really had a wonderful time on our tour and highly recommend doing the it right away to get a feel for the city. Would definitely use Intrepid Urban Adventures again for future tours.

this was a tour in my first night in barcelona. it was fine. we ate food and drank wine. I have been on other food tours where the passion and 'foodie'ness of the guide is so evident. it was more of a tour guide experience than a real food lovers experience.

Book this tour now!! It’s actually exactly what it says it will be but is the perfect blend of all (food, architecture, culture and history). We left with a really great sense of Chicago and enjoyed ourselves thoroughly. Other reviews say it too but Dave honestly was so amazing. You just know he loves Chicago and that comes through in how the tour is structured and all of his stories. Would recommend to first timers (which we were) but returning visitors too as I can almost guarantee you won’t have seen Chicago in this way :)

Dash is an excellent guide. Insightful, enthusiastic, and deeply knowledgeable. I don’t think I’ve ever had a tour that made staring at the ceiling as enriching an experience as this one.

This tour provided a solid mix of history, culture, and scenic views. Our guide was knowledgeable and offered some interesting facts that helped bring parts of the city’s story to life. That said, there were moments when the tour felt a bit slow and not as engaging as I’d hoped. A few stretches dragged on, and I found myself losing interest here and there. Despite that, it was still a worthwhile experience and a good way to get a broad overview of Chicago. I’d recommend it to anyone visiting the city for the first time who wants a relaxed introduction to its highlights.

OMG! Best tour we’ve ever been on. We loved Dave!! He was so amazing he taught us so much Chicago history and showed us all the coolest places! The food was so good I’m glad we got to try his favorite spot instead of the most touristy places. We even got to ride the L!! Would definitely recommend booking with “Chicago Dave” he’s the best!!
