New Orleans Garden District Tour
Had a great time! Took my mother to NOLA for the first time and knew she would love a walking tour through the Garden District. Walter, our guide was knowledgeable, thoughtful and such a delight. We had a great, small group eager to learn and chatty in the best way.

This was a highlight of my trip to New Orleans. Without the guided tour, I wouldn't have been able to appreciate the nuance of what I was seeing or the hidden treasures around the Garden District. Walter was an exceptional guide, with outstanding story telling, pace, and sense of humor to keep things interesting. Highly recommend this experience!

My husband, myself and our 1 year old daughter went on this walking tour with Walter and enjoyed it thoroughly. Walter was very knowledgeable and showed us some beautiful homes in the garden district and shared with us the architecture details of it. He also shared anecdotes and personal experiences he’s had with some of the owners of these houses, which added a nice little touch. We also got to see Maddie the malamute and that was the highlight for our daughter. Overall, lovely tour and definitely recommend it.

This was an amazing tour! Butch was a great guy, really down to earth and just so, so knowledgable. He took us around the streets of New Orleans, providing us with little tastes of a variety of home made flavours. From smoked alligator, to traditional gumbo, crawfish pie, amazing Po-boys (had not idea what they were but Butch explained everything while we ate!), and of course the praline!! Lots of other flavours on this tour, I’ve just mentioned a few. It was a great coupe of hours and we got to experience so much. Butch really knew his history, which really added to the whole experience. I couldn’t recommend this highly enough!

Our guide for our tour was Chip. This was our first trip to NOLA and starting it off with the food tour was definitely the right choice. He had a lot of history to share about New Orleans and Louisiana and the food stops....oh my...out of this world. The gumbo was definitely a favorite. Thanks again!

This tour is perfect to get a little history of the city while taking in the sites and delicious bites. I’ve always wanted to try alligator and the place our tour guide Chip took us makes beyond delicious gator! Highly recommend this tour.

$84 per person for 1 beignet, 1 po’boy, a cup of gumbo, a slice of muffeleta, and a praline was pretty steep. We estimated this would have cost around $25-30 purchased on our own. Our guide was great and we learned a lot about food, the city and its history from her. Just not sure her guidance was worth $50+
