New Orleans French Quarter Food Experience

We did the tour our first day in the French Quarter, which was such a great idea because we got a walking overview of it. Many of the places that I wanted to go to we actually went to on the tour. We tried a wide variety of foods and you definitely need to come hungry, not only did we learn about the food, but the history of the quarter as well. Highly recommend

Tod was absolutely wonderful!! So many fun fats, I personally didn't enjoy the first two coffees but loved the second one! But we learned so much about coffee and about seattle in general. Couldn't recommend it more.

A truly wonderful historic and culinary tour.

Kabil was fantastic. He’s is such an enthusiastic knowledgeable young man! His passion for the history of Boston is contagious. The highlight of the tour was the Boston Fish Pier and the innovative businesses there. It is a historic and also very much a working pier where the daily catch is processed and shipped all over the world. The restaurants he has selected are a mid of historic and contemporary venues and dishes and were all excellent. We all enjoyed the tour immensely and I’ll definitely try one of his tours when we return

Emotional

This was a big experience for me as my great grandmother lived in this neighbourhood before moving to the US. Was amazing to walk the sane boulevards that she once did, and learn more about Jewish life in Paris.

Yummy food and a great guide

Georgia was super knowledgeable about Venice and each area we went to specifically. She knew a lot about the history of the city and was able to answer questions and give recommendations without just reading from a script. My fiance and I had a great time!

An Essential Introduction to Venice

Participating in a food and wine tour is an essential introduction to Venice. You'll enjoy extensive samplings of delicious food and wine and have an opportunity to compare notes with intrepid fellow travelers. I chose the Viator tour because the meeting point was close to where I was staying and the route wound through cicchetti (tapis) pubs in the fish market neighborhood. It also included a Traghetto ride! Our tour guide, Olympia, was sensational. She arrived at the meeting point about 15 minutes early and did a great job of team-building before the tour even started. She was fluent in English, had a rich knowledge of Venice and its cuisine, and educated us in a most entertaining way. She intentionally engaged one-on-one with all the participants in our group. The food and wine was amazing. The pub staff were all polite and welcoming. Obviously, a lot of planning had gone into making this an enjoyable, entertaining and educational experience. I used the knowledge I gained from this tour every time I subsequently ordered food in Venice! I highly recommend this tour.

Nairobi City Tour

We had a great Nairobi City Tour booked directly with Intrepids with Michael as our guide. We would highly recommend the tour and in particular Michael as an amazing, knowledgeable and generally great guide with a great sense of huomour. Even though we have lived in Nairobi we still learned a lot. Thumps up!
