Lucy terrific. Tour description inaccurate.
Lucy is terrific. We had a great time.she took good care of our 11-year-old. The tour should be more accurately described. No rehearsal. No backstage views. Not her fault.

A must do!
We had such a great time! Our tour guide, Lorenzo, was very knowledgeable and friendly. He spent time asking our kiddos questions to make them feel included as well. Highly recommend especially if it’s your first time to DC!

Just Ok
We were about disappointed with this tour. We were allowed to get out briefly and take pictures at the Capitol,, and Washington monument. We were given 5 min at MLK monument and 20 min at Lincoln memorial and Vietnam wall. We have been on other monument tours that took us to more monuments and allowed more time to explore. Would like to have seen the WWII memorial, Jefferson Memorual and Roosevelt Memorial and spent a little bit of time exploring them. Driving through the streets of DC in an open air vehicle during rush hour was a little disconcerting. On the other hand it was nice to be able to to have unobstructed views since weeent weren’t able to stop at most places.

Poorly treated and forced to move seats
The bottom line is we were made to move to the rear facing seats (2 of us) to accommodate 5 guests who wanted to be seated together. Even though we were already the first ones seated in the vehicle. The guide/driver should have moved 2 of the 5 guests to the rear seats. The policy for this tour clearly states that particular seats cannot be guaranteed and it is first come first seated. Myself and my young granddaughter were embarrassed and disappointed to say the least. I am requesting either a total refund to my method of payment or a credit for a future tour. A great introduction to the City
A very informative tour of the city. The stops were frequent but be ready 5 minutes at the capital, 10 minutes at the Washington Monument, and 15 minutes at the MLK Memorial and 25 minutes Lincoln Memorial. The view of the White House was not good due to construction.

Maria was the best tour guide. She was very patient and kind and showed us some of the best hidden places to eat with the best food! We definitely couldn't have found these places without her. We left the tour with a very full tummy and some new friends! Highly recommend!

Nina from intrepid was knowledgeable and informative what an amazing experience. The tunnels and looking at what life was like for the VC and how resilient and resourceful they were during the Vietnam War was an eye opener.

Highly recommended!
We were part of a small group of 11 people travelling with Intrepid Travel. Quang Dang was our excellent Tour Guide. His exceptional knowledge and ability to convey it easily made this trip to the Cu Chi Tunnels memorable. Several of us went into the tunnels, crouching and at times crawling the 100 metres (perhaps more!) that were available to us. Not for the claustrophobic! This visit provided a glimpse into the Vietnam War and the extraordinary resilience of the Vietnamese people.

Cu Chi Tunnels experience was amazing.
I had an excellent experience with my Intrepid group at the Cu Chi tunnels. Nina was an amazing guide and leader for our group. She explained the functions of the tunnel systems and VC guerilla fighters in a very clear and compelling manner. She led us to each location and helped us to enter the rooms and tunnels safely. She also gave us extra suggestions. Nina mentioned that we could go 100 meters in the tunnels instead of the regular 40 meters. I took this opportunity and had a great time. She organized the trip well and was always timely. She is also very funny, patient, and attentive to our questions. I would highly recommend Nina to fellow Intrepid travelers for Vietnam trips.

Ok. Comfortable. Hit or miss on guide.
Decent if you get to the cart early and claim seats. Note 2 seats are tacked onto the back of the cart facing backwards. An elderly couple couldn’t take the tour because of that. They were understandably disappointed. Our guide was sufficient with a memorized speech. Nothing more. We got out at the capitol building (far away) for a quick pic, the MLK (8 min) and Lincoln memorials (20 min). For an overview it’s fine. Very little walking. Luck of the draw on the guide you get.
