After what felt like a confusing and chaotic first day in Hanoi, Kong was the perfect person to settle into the city with. His humour, good-naturedness and knowledge of the city helped us really get into the spirit of things. Every single dish we had was exceptional. I typically eat a vegetarian diet, but decided to forego it for this trip, and Kong made that decision more than worth it! Over and above the delicious food, one thing I’d love to call out as memorable was that I noticed Kong never referred to the places we were eating at as “stalls” or “restaurants”, but instead - families. That small change in language is so crucial in humanising a space. Tourism can often be so voyeuristic and dehumanizing of the people whose labour make it possible, and so Kong was a gentle and much needed reminder that every bite, and every experience has people and a story behind it. Thank you for everything, Kong. I recommend this to anyone coming to Hanoi. Do it on your first night!!

I learned SO much from Andre today, about the many influences on the New Orleans food scene. Tie all that to 4 stops at wonderful locations for a most filling and tasty afternoon. We started right on time at 2pm. Bites included Beignets, Gumbo, Jambalaya, Macque Choux Corn, PoBoys, and Pralines; all at locations that allowed space for Andre to offer in-depth commentary on the history, origins, and varieties of each dish. It was a warm day, and he provided water as well. Fantastic tour - highly recommended!

A first glimpse of Chicago
We booked a private food tour and we had a lot of fun. Not only that we talked about the food but we knew a lot about the history of the City. We came here with 0 expectations yet we were surprised of how good the art and culture here is. Dash was very accommodating, he asked about our preferences and he gave us extra tips for the rest of our stay.

Incredible experience, our tour guide Tod was such a wonderful authentic wealth of knowledge. I am from the seattle area and still felt like I was learning so much about my city and coffee! Phenomenal coffee stops, tons of history - Planning on taking my friends out of town on this tour. 10/10 would book again!

It was incredible, Kristy is well know in the culture (music, dates, events and even asking for restaurants choices). I totally recommend this excursion. And having the musicians playing based on the artist that we was learning and seeing the sculpture was AWESOME! The talent was inexplicably, is like blood in their veins. Even that was my 3rd excursion during the week, everything was NEW.

Perfect Chicago Tour!!
Get your walking shoes ready!!! I had an amazing time exploring Chicago on a walking tour with Dave. He made the city come alive with engaging stories, great energy, and just the right mix of history and humor. The food spots he chose were absolutely perfect—such a great way to experience the city’s flavors along the way. Riding the pink line and brown line was such a fun bonus—it added an authentic local touch. Highly recommend this tour if you want a memorable and enjoyable way to see Chicago!
