Out of this world experience. Great fun for all ages. More than worth the cost

The experience was very interesting and serves as a quite good tech demo for the VR experience. The downside is the complete lack of a narrative, clear use of AI throughout, and annoying time limit with no warning. At the beginning they encourage you to explore and take your time, and towards the end it just abruptly software locks you after an hour and you can't do anything else. The tech demo is very good, and I'm excited to see where it can go with other stories (Perhaps more fleshed out). The real-world environment (really just rails) adds depth and grounding in the virtual space and is insanely cool to see the before/after. It feels like you have been exploring this ship, not walking in circles in concrete. They truly did a stellar job in demoing what this technology can do. Disappointingly, there is no narrative for the interstellar arc. It's more of a setting - Cryo sleep, wake up, learn about earth, the ship, and the new planet, experience over. There is some OK world building that is somewhat interesting but feels like should be the setting to an actual narrative arc with characters and things that happen as the plot unfolds. As it is, it's a 1-hour long lore dump about the world and nothing more. Much of the script, at least some of the environment, and one of the characters were obviously AI generated. There's nothing wrong with this in theory, but at the price point more attention to detail and more ways to interact with the physical environment (Fans while in motion, seats should move while in transit, cold air during cryo) would have really elevated the experience. I'm excited to see what kind of stories can be told through this medium by people who care a more than to use AI and are interested in telling stories and having a full experience instead of just making a quick buck. The software lock is unbelievably frustrating. They say it's 60 minutes total, so maybe I should have seen it coming, but throughout they encourage you via the NPCs to explore and take your time learning about the ship, the earth, and the new planet. I did take my time and wanted to get as much as possible from the experience, but after 55 minutes I was told my shuttle was departing and ALL environment interactions locked me out and told me to go to my shuttle. This was unbelievably frustrating - a timer throughout would have been much better so I wasn't blind-sided and didn't have to miss anything. Luckily, I did most of the experience, but there were 2 or 3 more things I could have done if I hadn't been taking my time. I understand wanting to move crowds, but there SHOULD be a countdown timer (as you can't exactly look at your watch), or unlock it and let invested customers stay longer and move them to another side or something.

I REALLY wanted to love this, but I had a mixed experience. Loved the idea in the new part of Area15. Entrance is easy to find and the decor in the waiting room really got you into the storyline. We came a little later in the evening, so crowds were thin - our total group came out to about 9 people (a group of 4, a group of 3, and my group of 2) who entered together. The headsets were interesting - I can see how some people may get disoriented but I appreciate the handrails (more on that later). The headset did fall a little heavy on my head, so I had to tighten the straps so it wouldn't fall down. That being said, after some time wearing the headset pretty tight, they did get a little uncomfortable. I thought the storyline and the AR was well done, though there are still some bugs (my whole team looked like they were contorting in weird ways). I liked the ability to take photos within the game and retrieve them for free after the experience. I loved the different scenery and the guidance (the spirit guide and the arrows) to help navigate around. Ok, here are my challenges with this experience: there was a handrail that was NOT depicted in the AR headset. Thankfully my partner warned me when he ran into it, but I feel like that is pretty dangerous to not see an obstacle while wearing the headset. Additionally, what REALLY got me bummed was that we were not told that we had a limited amount of time to experience and explore, so we were very disappointed when it just abruptly made us exit to the final scene... we barely only got to explore half. There's badges and orbs they tell you to collect, but they don't mention to do it quickly. For the price paid, it felt like we were not adequately informed to experience Interstellar Arc to its maximum potential. I kind of wish there was some sort of a countdown timer in your visual space. Also, in the experience, your teammates have a certain color and everyone else has a different color suit. I wasn't able to see my partner (he looked like he was in a blue suit, but he had to be close within arm's range for me to see that it was him). The microphones to communicate to each other were not effective - there was a long delay and I could hear him just through the "soundproof" headset. Overall, though a unique experience and a nice addition to Area15, I feel like the experience has a ton of potential but I'm bummed I didn't get to experience the whole thing. I don't know if I would pay the steep price to do it again just to finish the 2nd half, but without exploring everywhere, the storyline seemed a little incomplete.

Such a fun experience!! Good for families too. If you get motion sickness easily, I’d be hesitant to participate as this is all done while wearing a virtual reality headset. The whole experience lasts around 45 minutes. There are in experience tasks you can complete as you go too by taking photos, and looking at certain things. Highly recommend when you come to the Area15 campus!

Stunning. There was one problem that smudged my whole experience. I needed the inside of the lens wiped like we do with eyeglasses. I told the employee during the briefing a few seconds after he had us put visors on, his reply simply was, great, but he didn't get sorted out. I told him I'd do it had I not left my eyeglass cloth in my checked jacket. No response, carried on like an assembly line. The visuals and experience are stunning though some red alert drama event in the story would be good. Something like red alert, malfunction in the systems whatever, before the AI assistant helps us to get it sorted out like happens in Star Trek every time. It was a beautiful science fiction story of interstellar voyage to immigrate to a new world. Was quoted $54 on Friday, but didn't do it until Saturday. $64 after veteran/military discount. Despite there being so little demand being early at lunch time, the surge pricing of it being Saturday had obviously kicked in by default. Surge pricing usually is variable by demand, but it seemed to be higher simply because it was Saturday. Loved the store though pricey. Bought a nice patch, but might want another for I like it so much. Fingers crossed you have online store since it didn't appear the store can be reached from outside appearing one way out of the experience before exiting outside. Cool place! Keep up this good work in progress.

As a professional photographer, I have traveled to many world class events (Paris Air Show, F1 in Monaco, Albuquerque Balloon Festival...) but have never been to a 1 hour experience that was such a visually incredible experience as Interstellar Arc. You really did feel like you were transported 10 light years from earth and wandering around the huge spaceship blew my mind as to the largeness of it and the distances you perceived both inside and outside your transitory residence. What a great place to bring now only your kids but parents as well. Life will be different in a hundred years and we very well could be living a a planet like Arcadia.

Did group of four for 240. Event is designed so that you will not be able to complete - 50% so that you will come back. Story line is ok. Visor resolution is LOW, hence does not look real. In few years will be fantastic. Recommend 7/10

Immersive VR but missing the mark on excitement. Accommodating to all ages and most abilities but average if you have experience with interactive VR. I hope they offer more options/spinn offs to the current storyline in the future.

The experience keeps repeating itself. I really got bored after 30 mins and had to take off the VR headset and leave. From a price/performance standpoint, it doesn’t worth the price at all. $74 for this experience is so much! I don’t recommend going…

Cool concept, but honestly it was kind of boring compared to the other experiences in Area 15. A few of us took our headsets off early

The Interstellar Arc is one of the most amazing things I’ve done in my 74 years. I highly recommend it to anyone that enjoys Sci-Fi or space exploration. Loved every minute of the journey. I would go again next time we’re in town.
