What they're trying to accomplish here is admirable, but the execution is not great. If you haven't done virtual reality before and you want to go through sort of a guided tour of a spaceship then this is a good experience. If you're looking for something that's like an interactive game this is not it. Has someone who's played virtual reality before I found this to be an extremely boring experience. I think you only are going to get caught up in the majesty of the scale of what their visually presenting to you if you've never played a space-based video game before. I think that at some point if they kind of lean towards figuring out how to make this a game in some way it has a lot of potential.

Had a great time on this. I love how mostly immersed I felt once I got my headset on and the trip began. The terminal crew were pleasant but lackluster. The only one that seemed to care about being there were those inside the ship and in the final room.. Most of the terminal crew seemed kinda bored at work and of interacting with the passengers in any immersive ways. Take this. Walk over there. How many are you. Go stand over there. Just kinda droll. It wasn't until we got to the cryo pods that I started seeing like we were getting prepped for the mission. Waking up in 2668 was fantastic. I would have stayed longer to get all the achievements, but I triggered the ending sequence too soon and my headset started dying. Not sure why it couldn't hold a charge for an hour. What beautiful sites the ARC has. You can take pictures in the ARC experience and they are sent to you later. Maybe I can post signs when I get mine back! All in all I had a great time. Fantastic experience. Just wish some of those crew were a little more enthusiastic.

I have really mixed feelings on this one. I think part of it was expectations. It is an immersive art exhibit through a very novel medium. But it is not an adventure like I expected. There's a set script you follow (and then fail to complete in the allotted time). There's minimal real interaction and none of it matters or changes the plot in any way. My husband said it felt like an amazing tutorial for the real game and that was just it. It was all world building but no real world exploring. If I entered with that other mindset, I might have liked it more?

We went to Interstellar Arc in Las Vegas as a group of five, and unfortunately, none of us enjoyed it. You are literally walking around in circles for about an hour with no clear direction, objective, or understanding of what you’re supposed to be doing. It didn’t feel interactive or engaging, and after a while we were all just over it. The headset is also heavy and uncomfortable—our heads actually started hurting, which made the experience even worse. It was part of a pass—otherwise, I honestly would have asked for a refund. That said, the staff was incredible. There is an operator there the entire time, and when we raised our hands, he immediately helped us out and let us exit early, which we really appreciated. Overall, while the concept seemed interesting, the lack of structure and physical discomfort made it a miss for us.

Meh. Kinda boring. You’re not really doing anything but following a linear path. Maybe it will be improved down the celestial road.
