We enjoyed our visit. Booking the visit for 10am was the best choice. No crowds, no queues so we were able to enjoy the views unrestricted and learn about the building’s history.

Great Views Of NYC
We had a great time visiting the Empire State Building. The whole experience was really well organised and the views from the top were amazing. It was fantastic being able to see across New York City and take in all the famous landmarks from above. Definitely one of the highlights of our trip and something we would recommend to anyone visiting. I’d also recommend booking on the day if it’s not peak holiday season, as on the first day we planned to go it was extremely foggy so we wouldn’t have seen anything. We ended up reassessing and going the next day instead, which worked out perfectly.

Go when clear skies
Cloudy so we couldn't see anything at all. There were no lines but clear why that was the case. It was our last day so no other option

Be aware on overcast or cloudy days.
There was no tour operator and it was cloudy and we were unable to see anything. I tried to cancel or reschedule with no luck on finding anyone to support me.

Views are stunning as expected
I didn’t go to the uppermost platform as wasn’t willing to pay the extra. The main 360 degree deck was enough and didn’t fail to disappoint. The elevators were super quick like they were on steroids yet so smooth going up. Admission was handled efficiently though a little backup going thru security. Admission is pricey and more so with the upgrades. I think overall a visit to nyc without going at least once to the empire SB needs to rethinked.

I didn’t receive a confirmation for the tickets so I wasn’t sure if we had reservations until I showed up. No visibility on a rainy day so it was a bust.

Please be warned!! GetTourGuide refused to help the night before when we discovered it would be heavily raining for our appointed time at 9:45 am. I would HIGHLY recommend NOT booking this expensive experience thought GetYourGuide! I called the Empire State Building and explained our situation that my 79 year old mother would have difficulty in the rain and were requested changing to another time the same day. They explained that it was easy to make changes if we arrived to the site and used the Kiosk to change our scheduled time to a more favorable one. When we arrived the people working at ESB let us know there was no view at all and kindly showed us how to change the time to later that evening so we could enjoy the experience. Do NOT use GetTourGuide for this experience.
