Must do when visiting NYC!
The Empire State Building was an incredible experience and absolutely worth the visit. It was also easy to get to from both the 33rd street PATH station and 34th street station. The staff was friendly, the lines moved quickly, and it wasn't nearly as crowded as we expected. The exhibits were fun and interactive, but our favorite part was the video highlighting all of the building's appearances in movies, TV shows, and pop culture. It was a great reminder of just how iconic this place really is. Views are amazing, but the whole experience was well done from start to finish. It's one of those places that creates lasting memories and is a must-do for anyone visiting New York City.

Must See
I went with my two daughters (age 16 & 12). We all loved it and went to the 102nd floor. Everyone working the event was very kind, efficient, and helped keep things flowing. They had an Italian drink and dessert stand at the outdoor observatory area. It was amazing to share an ice cream with my girls and see the city from a unique perspective. We highly recommend!

First time visit to the Empire State Building
My teenage son and I had a great first time visit to the Empire State Building. We chose to go on a Monday evening just before sunset. There were no lines, and we were even able to enter earlier than ticketed. It is a marvel of a building and we were really glad we took the time to read all the historical information that is on display. The views from the 86th Floor are spectacular!

Get tickets ahead of time for a tour
We were not aware you needed tickets to get into the Empire State Building, so we only got to see the lobby. I was unaware you could not purchase tickets inside the lobby. The outside of the building was spectacular! It is not clear which entrance to use to see the lobby vs entering the building for a tour.
