In the city for the Bon Jovi Concert

We came into the city for the Bon Jovi concert at Madison Square Garden and a night on the town. Since we had time in the morning before our train home, I decided to take my wife to the Empire State Building, as it was a first for her. Not knowing how long it would take, I did the VIP access, and it was awsome. We arrived around 845 am, and we were placed at the head of the line. We were given special wrist bands, and at 9 am, let in. Once inside, we followed the red carpet, and were immediately into an elevator to the 80th floor. Then we switched and were at the 86th before we knew it. No lines to deal with, etc. Was great. We walked around outside and took in the view, which was spectacular. (We were lucky because previous days the heat and smoke from Canadian wildfires were unbearable and imagine impacted the view). After some time we then took the elevator to the 102 floor, and that's was crazy. The view is even more spectacular, but wow, it was high. This is a must see when in the city.

Worth the Visit! Amazing Views and Fun Attractions

Excellent view! On the way to the observatory, there are several attractions showcasing the area’s history, along with a King Kong display that’s perfect for photos. It’s definitely worth a visit!
