Dmitri was a fantastic guide! He made me care about the art and want to know more about it. It's probably the best tour I've been on!!!

Early June Ponza
Beautiful and perfect day for boating and swimming, water was perfect. Host was lovely Don’t forget sunscreen and water. You get a little bit of time before going on private boat, there is a farmacia to buy sunscreen and anti-emetic You travel by the ferry times so finish around 16:00 and ferry at 17:30. This was my favourite part of my trip to Italy, and would recommend and come back.

It is definitely a need...
It is definitely a need to visit the Vatican when you are in Rome at least once in your life. This tour was fine but overall the Vatican was crowded and felt like we were animals being moved through gates.

Asunta was a good tour...
Asunta was a good tour guide. She was very friendly and knowledgeable about all the art work in the Vatican museum. The only negative, was that the museum was incredibly crowded and hard to move around….which the tour group can’t control.

A tour one must not miss when in Rome!
It was a wonderful tour. Priscilla, our tour guide was excellent! She explained the history of the Church and what lay beneath it with so many details that it took us back 1900 years back to the 1st century AD! This is a tour one must never miss!

No guide showed up!
We were to have a tour today at the Vatican. Upon arrival, we waited until past the meet up time. No one from the company showed up or contacted us. Another person, not associated with the tour, approached us and told us the Vatican was closed. That is okay it is the Jubilee year and things happen. . What is NOT okay is that we were not contacted at ALL. I finally called the company and the representative said we we were rescheduled without notifying us for the next day. We could do the next day as we are leaving Rome in the morning . I will never book with trip advisor again. Poor customer communication. And time wasted.

It was amazing.
Silvia was amazing, super friendly and knowledgeable about the historical sites we passed by. She genuinely loved the places we visited, and it made our trip so enjoyable that we didn’t even realise we were walking a lot. It felt like we were being guided by a fun-loving friend Grazie Mille, Silvia!

Borghese tour June 2025

our guide, catalina, was wonderful, fun, kind, thoughtful, informative and great with kids, the headsets made it easy to hear in the crowded rooms

Priscilla was a fantastic guide - she explained the art and the story of the Borghese Gallery with knowledge and wit.
You could be overwhelmed as there is so much to see but we were guided round the gallery so that we could appreciate the stories and art pieces that are key to its story

Our tour guides was so knowledgeable about the history, the rooms etc. She was concerned for the whole group and did a great job of giving us rests and keeping us all together. It was a very crowded day, but the tour was great.
