Best tour we had in Rome - very highly recommended!

Jeanette was a fantastic and extremely knowledgeable tour guide who showed us round at a good pace, giving us time to appreciate the selection of pieces she had carefully chosen. Her knowledge and humour helped us to understand the context in which the paintings and sculptures were made, and we got so much more out of it than we would have without her. Highly recommended.

Well worth a visit

I booked a trip to the Borghese for completeness without really having much idea what to expect. The online pictures and videos don’t do justice to the collection. A cardinal’s palace and very much in the vein of the Vatican collection just scaled down a little. Excellent, informative guide with a training in art history and a bit of welcome irreverence. Well worth the effort of the visit and the price of a guided tour. Good cafe and restroom facilities. The only disappointment was timed admission and timed exit - two hours isn’t long in there.

Fantastic tour

We had a fantastic tour with Monica. She had so much knowledge on the Vatican and chapel, and knew how to bypass the crowds. We would highly recommend this tour. There was so much to see, it was overwhelming at times.

Our tour of the Vatican Museums, Sistine Chapel, and St. Peter’s Basilica was absolutely amazing! Our guide, Ricardo, was outstanding — incredibly knowledgeable, passionate, and engaging throughout the entire experience. He shared fascinating insights about the art, history, and architecture, pointing out masterpieces by Michelangelo, Raphael, and many others. Ricardo’s passion for the Vatican’s history really brought everything to life, and he made sure everyone in our group was comfortable and taken care of. We especially appreciated how he gave us time to explore St. Peter’s Basilica on our own after guiding us through so many memorable areas. The company was also great to work with — communication was clear, meeting instructions were easy to follow, and the Skip-the-Line access made everything smooth and stress-free. Overall, it was an unforgettable experience that we highly recommend to anyone visiting Rome. Thank you, Ricardo, for making it so special!

San Clemente is a...

San Clemente is a beautiful basilica with so much history and beautiful art. There is a fantastic level from the 4th century below the church, and yet another one below that from the first century. An Italian friend had suggested we go, and I am so grateful for her advice. There are frescoes, inscriptions, original floors, and so much to see. Our guide, Gianlucca, was awesome--fulll of knowledge, energy, and humor.

Highly recommended

The tour was expensive but worth every penny. The Borghese gallery is beautiful and our guide Francesco's knowledge of art, history and politics, as well as his subtle humour and critical thinking, gave real substance to the visit.

Richcardo was outstanding today. His knowledge of the arts and statues, and the Museum, the Sistine Chapel were unsurpassed. I have been twice before and still learned many facts about the Chapel and Museum

Great tour

Great, detailed tour with a very informative and helpful guide. Good approach to the tour. The guide would explain each section of the tour and then it was open question and answer type of format. If someone had a question, the guide was very knowledgeable.

Wonderful Journey

Our beautiful Italian tour guide Alesia has been energetic and helpful throughout the entire journey. We liked her sharing the abundant history of the Ancient Rome history. This trip is just exceptional. The best we got.

the museum is big, be prepared to walk and use step, wear good shoes. So much history in Vatican city you definitely want a guide, Ricardo was fantastic

The tour brought the visit to life

Federica was amazing and brought the Gallery to life for us. While it would be have been OK to go through the Borghese ourselves, learning more about the history and stories behind the villa and the art made it special.

Excellent and worry free!

Our guide Doriana was excellent. She has a PHD in archeology and was so knowledgeable. Of course when you take a tour, there are times when you wish you could linger a bit longer over certain works of art but overall it was a lovely experience and we were very pleased with our decision to let someone guide us. It removed a lot of worry and stress and made the Vatican visit much more enjoyable!

Amazing

This was an amazing experience. When I arrived, almost a bit late but I was close to on time, the crew was still there, Maria was my guide and she was very friendly and helpful at first with greeting and taking care of the crew she was in charge of. There were 8 of us from all nationalities. She spoke English which is my language and she did that very well. Once we got into the tour and inside the building, it was almost like she built it herself as no questions were unanswered. She knew the tour and the building. I give her an A+ for that. Highly recommend this trip and I hope you get her for your guide.
