First family Vatican City visit
Our guide was very thorough and extremely patient. The Vatican Museum was very crowded and we were diverted to the second floor in order to extend that portion of the tour (not the fault of the tour operator). Very impressive overall. Be prepared to walk up and down a fair amount of stairs. Worth the effort.

Excellent Guide
Excellent guide Patrizia from EcoArt, really brought it to life. Went at a good speed highlighting the really important aspects, ideal when time is tight.

Must do Tour
Definitely do skip the line tour! Long lines and hot. Our guide was perfect with headsets. Spoke great English and knew so much history.

8:00 am tour with Elana
Many many marble steps to the Sistine Chapel but go for it. The 8:00 am tour is not too crowded and our guide Elana was awesome! She told us what to expect each part of the tour, pointed out bathrooms on the tour. She was always easy to find because she gave clear, concise instructions. Her knowledge of the Vatican areas university level. I highly recommend her tour. Elana from Milan

Do not book
Worst tour of any we have taken in decades in multiple countries. The “English” guide spoke horrible English such that we only understood a small fraction of what he said even though we asked him to slow down. The guide also assumed a high level of knowledge and clearly was not interested in explaining to the tourists. This tour was NOT up to Viator standards. So disappointing since it was supposed to be the highlight of the trip for our daughter and we had visited before. Tour company was unresponsive to complaints.

Jam Packed Art + History Tour
This was the perfect tour of the highlights of the Vatican Museum and Sistine Chapel for us. Stefano had a cheeky sense of humor in his delivery for the history (political, religious, economic) and art descriptions which we enjoyed immensely. The tour ends with going into St. Peter’s Basilica without having to wait in another security or ticket line. You can spend as much time there as you want. The dome climb (a separate fee and spectacular views) is definitely worth booking ahead of time since you’re already there.

Serena was great!
Serena was wonderful! So was very enthusiastic and knew all the history and facts so well. The ear pieces to hear her guided walk were so nice and we were really able to enjoy the full tour so well. We are definitely glad we booked this tour.

We found the tour a little long many stairs but we're able to relax in the gardens which we did after before heading back to our hotel thankyou for the experience worth the trip

A delightful, lowkey tour at peak visit time
Loreley was our EcoArt guide - and what a fantastic guide she was - attentive to everyone’s needs, clear communicator, knew so much history besides that of the art we passed, and calmly led us through throngs of people milling about all the rooms, talking the whole time. It was really kind of amazing to watch. In a situation like this where you have to submit to a guide or be left behind she made it so pleasant.
