(Translated by Google) This was really bad. First of all, it's a huge scam that something like "skip the line" tickets exists. They don't exist; you simply join the online reservation line like everyone else. So, you're not actually getting into the free entrance line, but the online reservation line. Great acting by the guide, who acted like this was truly a first... Our guide from EcoArt Travel also didn't think much of us. The tour was supposed to start at 10:00 AM and last until 11:00 AM, and we had museum tickets at 12:00 PM. An hour's leeway for something next door seemed sufficient. When we arrived at 10:00 AM to find a huge line (which we ended up waiting in for two hours) and were worried about whether we'd make it to the museums, the guide said we would manage and that if we didn't, we could leave a bit earlier. What the guide should have done was tell us there was free admission (which went three times faster that day than the paid online reservation...) and direct us to the museum. Then we could have visited the basilica later, using the free admission (and with two hours of explanation waiting in line under our belts). Now, two hours had passed, and the tour inside the basilica was rushed. We then had to figure out for ourselves how to access the things offered in the tickets (including the tombs). Absolutely terrible. No skip-the-line access, just book online yourself or use the free admission. This has absolutely no added value; in fact, it cost us a fortune because we were now too late to visit the Vatican Museums. (Original) Dit was echt heel slecht. Allereerst is het een grote oplichting dat er zoiets bestaat als "skip the line" tickets. Deze bestaan dus niet, je mag gewoon aansluiten in de rij voor online reserveringen net zoals de rest. Je pakt dus feitelijk niet de gratis toegangs rij maar die voor online reserveringen. Mooi acteerwerk van de gids die net deed alsof dit echt voor het eerst was... Onze gids van EcoArt Travel dacht daarnaast totaal niet met ons mee; De tour zou om 10:00 beginnen en tot 11:00 duren, wij hadden daarna om 12:00 kaartjes voor de musea, uur speling voor iets wat er naast ligt leek ons voldoende. Toen we om 10:00 in een enorme rij aankwamen (waar we dus uiteindelijk 2 uur in gestaan hebben) en we ons zorgen maakte over of we het musea wel gingen redden gaf de gids aan dat dit wel ging lukken en we anders iets eerder konden vertrekken. Wat de gids had moeten doen was ons vertellen dat er ook gratis toegang was (die deze dag 3x zo snel ging als de betaalde online reservering toegang...) en ons naar het museum moeten sturen. Dan hadden we later via de gratis toegang (en met 2 uur uitleg in de rij op zak) alsnog de basiliek kunnen doen. Nu waren we 2 uur verder en werd de tour in de basiliek afgeraffeld. We moesten vervolgens zelf uitvogelen hoe hetgeen in de tickets aangeboden (o.a. graftombes) toegankelijk was. Heel slecht.. Niks skip the line, gewoon zelf online reserveren of via de gratis toegang gaan. Totaal geen toegevoegde waarde dit, sterker nog; Heeft ons nu veel geld gekost omdat we nu dus te laat waren voor een bezoek aan de Vaticaanse musea.

Do Not Miss This Tour!!!!

I did this absolutely incredible tour in September 2025, and it was truly one of the best experiences of my life! I highly recommend it — everyone should do it at least once in their lifetime.

Fantastic tour of the Vatican, Basilica and Sistine Chapel! Our guide Martina was friendly and knowledgable, not only with regards to the attractions themselves but also how to get the best out of them amid all the other visitors. Looking at other groups and guides (there are many!) is is clear we had one of the best and have no hesitation in recommending EcoArt and Martina if you are looking for a tour guide. Thanks again.

Martina, our tour guide was excellent and really interesting to listen to. Really informative and knowledgeable and all done with a smile. We loved the tour and, yes, it’s busy but, very manageable and avoiding the huge queues was a definite bonus. 100% recommend it

Good guide

The tour itself was good we had a great time and the experience was great but what made us particularly enjoy the tour was our guide Sara she was very knowledgeable about the tour she gave us a lot of information spoke non stop but answered our question and had a very good accent it was easy to understand if you happened to visit the Vatican don't hesitate to passe by them you will not regret it.
