I recently had the privilege to visit Rome and attend an EcoArt Travel tour of the Vatican. The tour guide was Assunta, a true Art Historian! Words cannot express how impressed I was with Assunta’s professionalism, skill set, and in-depth knowledge of the Vatican and the uniqueness of the items found therein. Assunta’s engaging personality immediately made the group feel comfortable. She took the time to answer questions and made certain each member of the group (ranging from older adults to children) were given the time and attention necessary to make the Vatican tour a life-long memory! Although there are many options for tourists to choose from while in Rome, EcoArt Travel and their esteemed tour guides (such as Assunta) is what sets them apart from the competition. We had a wonderful art historian, Assunta from EcoArt as our tour guide. She has great knowledge of the Vatican City and the art history, we were very lucky to have her lead our tour. She is very professional and shared exclusive details of the highlights of the Vatican City. We enjoyed very much and had very good experience.

Excellent tour!

Marcello was an amazing guide! Knowledgeable and funny. He answered my husband's questions about several of the pieces, and helped us know what to expect for each portion of the visit. This area is enormous, and a proficient guide is so helpful! I recommend this tour to anyone who wants to visit the Vatican and Sistine Chapel (with access to St. Peter's Basilica) to learn about art and history.

Beyond the views, I couldn't believe how time passed among the corridors of the Vatican museum, as our guide Anna was so amazing! We all informed well and we also spend lots of time at Basilica, except museum and shapel.

Ascension was the most wonderful guide! Enthusiastic, warm, funny and charming. And as for the Vatican tour … absolutely stunning. I thought the British Museum was the a den of thieves … that was nothing - wait till you see the Vatican. Magnifico.

Amazing!

This was an incredible tour! I unfortunately can't remember our guides name. She was shorter and is an archeologist. Her passion, enthusiasm, and knowledge made this am amazing experience. She truly was the best tour guide we had during our two weeks in Italy!

Não ficamos satisfeitos. Gostaria de parte do valor de volta. não foi possível ir a Basiloca de São Pedro. Estava fechada e não recebemos nenhum aviso , quando o ingresso incluía a basílica. Se soubesse teria escolhido outra data. infelizmente no dia seguinte partimos de Roma bem cedo…

Our guide Giuseppe was fantastic with great knowledge and able to make it enjoyable to listen to while learning. He also had a good sense of humor that kept the tour very pleasant.

A superb tour from a real expert

A superb tour from Laura who was very smart, full of info and with a keen sense of humour, all delivered in perfect English - the time went so quickly! Highlights included finding the best view of St Peter’s in the morning sun, a detailed explanation of the Sistine Chapel ceiling and a thorough history of the Vatican and its relationship with art through the centuries. It was the best tour for a Rome first timer, thank you.
