Fabio is a terrific Vatican guide!
Fabio made this tour one of the highlights of our mother-daughter trip in Italy! He was organized, fluent in English, extremely knowledgeable, and displayed a sense of humor. I especially appreciated his explanation of the paintings of the Sistine Chapel prior to our entering that crowded, chaotic space. All of his "pointers" made our time in the Chapel much more productive and clear.

Amazing art but too crowded to enjoy fully
Tour guide was v knowledgeable but tour was not worth €160 for a couple. Place was Very crowded. Sistine Chapel was a let down because it was just so full of people and couldn’t enjoy the experience

Interesting and fun
The guide was very knowledgeable and excited about showing us the art and history. She also made navigating the crowds easier.

You need to go more than once to absorb and see what you want
There is so so so much to see it’s impossible to absorb all the information. I was shocked to see taking pictures and hear people talking when we got to the Sistine chapel( showed a complete lack of respect on their part) but what we saw was remarkable and very impressive. I gave the score because you’re forced to see things you may not be interested in before you get to see the map room (which was so impressive) Raphael and Michelangelo’s work and more . We could see St. Peter’s with our ticket but my child was too tired and that means we have to go back which again feels a bit of a rip off. The tour guide (I think his name was Oscar) was incredible, it was like listening an encyclopedia. It’s impossible to absorb and appreciate your own interests for more than a few moments

Great company, even better guide!
We did this tour with EcoArt and Catalina was our guide. She was incredible and made this walking tour enjoyable for our group that consisted of young kids. The tour company was also very responsive morning of the tour when we needed to let then know that we're running late due to last minute rains and very bad traffic. We took the small group tour which was expensive, but it turned out to be a good decision given how crowded the museums were. After the tour , she also took time to recommend places to eat that could accommodate our group of 7.

Oscar was great! He kept my 17 year old and another younger child on the tour interested throughout. He was very personable.

Good visit to Musei Vaticani
Great visit to Musei Vaticani with very friendly guide Catalina, who made it really easy to follow the explanation. She spoke English very well and made jokes every now and then to amuse old and young.

Overpriced and under delivered
The Vatican was a beauty place to explore and being able to skip the long line was great. However paying close to $200 for a 2 hour guided tour was not worth it. The guide was sweet and shared some good stories but you could easily download a an audible tour and pay for a skip the line pass. Be warned there are over 35,000 visitors a day and it's a jubilee year so the crowds and lines will be insane.

Vatican Tour
Hard to understand the guide for several reasons. My headset was crackling and not that clear. Swapped out the earphones but didn’t help. The accent of the guide made it hard to hear clear descriptions.

The paintings were amazing! We took so many photos! Oscar was really funny and kept me entertained for the entire time. He gave very detailed explanations of each of the paintings or sculptures. He is a very talented and professional guide!

Booked the tour to the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel with Giuseppe from EcoArt for myself and a relative and it was a great experience. Giuseppe is very knowledgeable about the subject and other interesting stuff. Despite his patience, a very friendly and approachable character, his English is perfect ! LOVED the tour. Giuseppe was awesome. There’s so much to see. He expertly guided us through the highlights and was great with my 5yo too. He was extremely knowledgeable and knew how to work through the crowds. Can’t wait for another tour with him next time!

Unbelievable experience
Riccardo has been a unique guide for us with deep knowledge of history and with the ability of making meaningful connections between Greek and Roman history! As Greeks we enjoy it a lot!

Good but tiring (no breaks)
Giuseppe the guide was fantastically knowledgeable and easy to understand. Tour was brilliant. The only issue was no breaks in a two and a half hour tour, which was too much especially with kids. Could easily have built in a few five minute pauses. But overall was well worth it. Other issue was our tour was titled to include St. Peter’s Basilica but we then got word it would not. I realise this was because of the Jubilee but it was not clearly communicated.

Small group tour is the way to go!
Maria Paola was an excellent guide, great stories, details, cliffhangers….very well done. She prepared us for the checkpoints, so no unexpected surprises. She knew when to give us time for photos and gave all the right directions to the best photos stops!
