It was definitely not what we expected. A lot of talking partly funny. But frankly we were given some explanation about different cuisines, but not the most interesting ones.

Tour was good, got to visit an assortment of food places, but we were a little rushed at the end to get to the fish tossing at Pike’s fish market! The food was all very good and Will was excellent in explaining the ingredients, preparation and culinary insights of each place.

This was an amazing tour. Sylas was extremely knowledgeable about so much of the Market but also the history of the city. He was very friendly and made this one of the best tours we’ve experienced in Seattle. Plus almost everyone knows Sylas!

My 2 adult children and I had Chef Scott as our guide. We could not have been more pleased with him as our guide. He was cordial and very informative about the history of Pike Place Market and chose wonderful restaurants for our tour. The food was excellent and ready when we arrived due to Chef Scott ordering ahead of the tour time. If you like the chowder, skip the long line and the order online and pickup at the To Go window located behind the pizza shop next to the chowder restaurant. Also, if using Lyft to get to Simply Seattle, when you put in the address 1600 1st Ave it brings up options DO NOT choose the Alaskan Way option it is the WRONG location for the tour. The 1529 Western Ave was the best option and just tell the Lyft driver to take you to 1st Ave and Pine; Simply Seattle is on one of the corner s of this intersection. Don’t miss a wonderful experience!

Will was an incredible guide! We had the best time with him and ended up on basically a private tour, which meant we got more stops and more samples. He was full of knowledge, and we even got a hands-on demonstration to improve our knife handling skills. I would recommend this tour hands down to anyone wanting to tour the market without falling into typical tourist traps and also to eat good food!

We had the most wonderful time! Will (Chef Dimples) was so much fun. He was knowledgable, informative, and passionate about the food. Additionally, his happy, chill mood was infectious! We skipped crazy long lines and talked to store owners. We ate SO many cool things. Our tour guide consistently made sure the group had everything they needed. As a special treat, I got to catch a fish at the fish market!! I would recommend this to everyone!
