You Can't Do Better
You can't do better than this experience to get a real flavor of Mexico. We started in the market to buy our food and ended in the kitchen making tortillas before eating the fruits of our labors. Francisco is an amazing host and makes you feel valued and treasured. Something we will do again the next time we visit Cabo.

Fun outing for everyone!
Carolina is a natural teacher. She explained everything we were doing in great detail. The markets we shopped at were a lot of fun. I wish we would have bought two packs of tortillas when we had the chance. The paella and tacos we made were really good. Of course the home made margaritas added to the flavor. There were other couples there who had done this same event multiple times because there is a new menu each time (and Carolina shares the recipes). We will be back.

A highlight of our whole trip!
We had an absolutely amazing time in our cooking class. Both hosts were very friendly and made us feel right at home in their kitchen. We learned so much and it was a great experience getting to cook in a Mexican home with experienced chefs. I would highly recommend it!

Disappointed and a waste of time
My friend and I showed up for this tour that we were excited about as it was my friend's birthday as well as our last full day in cabo. We waited all day, excited, for this evening activity. We show up in the tour guide tells us it has been canceled and we should have been notified the day before. While we were not notified, by him or any representative of his company. He casually told us this news and offered drink, an Uber back to our hotel, as well as a refund. We were extremely disappointed with the lack of communication as we could have filled our day and evening with another activity if we were made aware. We were the only ones not notified, interesting because we just had an activity with the same guide and Company just two days prior. We do not recommend booking with them as this is how they handle their patrons. What a disappointing day for the birthday girl.

Can’t miss experience
Fantastic experience: can’t recommend highly enough. From the moment we were greeted by Chef Issi, we were blown away. The shopping experience at small local food stores, his explanation of everything, hands-on instruction on making margaritas and cooking a full-course, delicious food, free-flowing conversation, right in his family home! Our best experience so far of getting away from the tourist mode and experiencing local culture. First time for my wife and I, but in the dozens of repeat trips for our hosts here in Cabo San Lucas, they say they have NEVER been disappointed with Cookin’ Cabo.

Excellent taco tour
Had a great time with Karina. We visited five great taco places, followed by paletas for dessert and finished with a fun tequila tasting.

An absolute must do!
Brother and sister team that teach the cooking class. Started in the market to get ingredients. Came back to cook authentic tamales, guacamole, salsa, and tortillas as well as margaritas. Live music played as everyone cooked and drank together. SO MUCH FUN! Each day they cook something different and I certainly would do it again!

Carolina and Issy were amazing! Being a family owned business made the whole experience even better. It was everything we were expecting, and more! Definitely a must do when visiting Cabo!

Food was awesome and you won’t leave hungry! Your guide was so informative and very passionate. You will eat at places you would never have known about and the most authentic! So much fun!

Best!
We had a wonderful time cooking with chef Francisco and his family! We learned so much shopping at the market, prepping the food, making tortillas and enjoying the fruits of our labor. We enjoyed a delicious hibiscus margarita while we worked (juicing the limes was our first task), salsa Mexicana, guacamole, salsa verde, shrimp tostadas on jicama, and fish tacos. We hope to do it again next time we visit Los Cabos!

Ok .... Short and sweet! Do it! You will eat at places you would have normally walked right by. And eat a variety of tacos u may have never imagined. Miguel was absolutely amazing and his love for the country and of course the food is endearing! Simply a wonderful human being! So what are u waiting for? Book it

A wonderful, delicious, and memorable experience!
Chef Alberto and his mother Lily were so welcoming to have my mom and I in their home for this memorable experience. It was so wonderful to be able to prepare and cook such a delicious meal including all delicious fresh ingredients and the knowledge behind so many things that were included throughout this experience! Such a great experience and highly recommend this excursion for anyone looking for an authentic cooking experience!!

Great Way to Enjoy Our Last Night in Cabo
Miguel y David were very pleasant and patient with the drunk tour guests while also keeping them on track. They also had great energy and enthusiasm for Mexico's various regions. It was also great to learn about tequila, how it's made, and how the flavor differs depending on the preparation. I also appreciate that they did not try to get us drunk. It was mostly food. My dad, who is 70 and an avid pickleball player, would have liked to sit more (and probably walk just a bit slower). Finally, although the tour name makes clear that it is taco-centric, we would have liked a little more variety, too.

Juan more ya a great way to taste different food outside the tourist zone. Safe walking tour was not strenuous. Try it!
We loved Milton! He made sure any food allergies were addressed and encouraged us to try all the local specialties! Friendly and attentive to our needs. Great host! Ah and the tequila at the end muy bien!!

Fun experience but go very hungry!
Different than expected, but the guide was fabulous! Nicest guy, great conversation, chips and salsa right off the bat and an option to purchase margaritas. Super clean building, where they hold very fun-looking cooking classes! I kind of hoped to learn more about Mexican food and cultures, but the tacos we tried were tasty. I wasn't super hungry and you need to go very hungry for all the tasting you do!!!
