OH MY, this was my favorite tour EVER. Sam was quite literally the smartest person I know, he had SO much information and history to share with us, and he made it so interesting and engaging. Sam was super fun, and I couldn’t imagine a better tour guide (plus he had the best mustache I’ve ever seen)!! My husband and I loved the trip and the travels were so easy, and honestly went way faster than I expected. Normandy was absolutely stunning and so sobering. I would recommend this tour 1000x over for anyone even if Normandy isn’t on your top ten list, it absolutely needs to be, especially when going through City Wonders and having Sam as your guide!!!

We had an amazing tour guide! It was so nice to be able to bypass the lines. Our guide was extremely informative about so many wonderful art pieces. It was a really good sampling of the art that’s available to see. We learned a lot about the history of the museum as well. The microphone system worked very well and it was easy to hear our guide at all times.

The basilica was closed till 13:00 hours on a day of my trip and I couldn’t see it during the morning excursion. I needed to book on line another ticket with the different time slot to access the basilica.

Started has a group of 4 and we were seated in single seats around the bus. That was disappointing for the amount of time travelling on the bus. We didn’t get the time in each Town that stated on the site. Never got to explore like we had hoped. I do realize there was traffic and that caused some delays. But the two Towns were packed with other bus tours and everything was just too busy to enjoy.

Anna was a great guide, very friendly and informative. The water transport was very nice and comfortable. We felt we had plenty of free time at both islands and the demonstrations of glass blowing and lace making were great - it was a brilliant day out, well worth the money.

From Rome: Pompeii Day Trip with Optional Vesuvius & Neapolitan Pizza Lunch

The time at Pompeii and the guide were amazing. Everything felt a bit rushed even with the extended tour, but is also quite a distance from Rome so a lot of Rome is spent on the bus. Hence, the reason for my less than 5-star review. It was so hot on the bus and the driver did not turn on the AC - and it wasn’t because it wasn’t working. It worked all the way to Pompeii and he would switch it on and off intermittently. The group of us at the back thought we could pass out it was so bad! Otherwise, Pompeii was great!

Our guide Stefano was knowledgeable, and entertaining! The Tour was fantastic!
