Addy was amazing!!!!! She knew her history very well and made it fun. Definitely need a tour guide to navigate the Louvre. It's too big to go without one. Breathtaking.

Ask for Paula H who is an outstanding tour guide
We did an early morning tour (8:10a). This was my 2nd visit and my daughter's 1st. Paula H did a fantastic job in English - she was so knowledgeable, engaging and professional. We also couldn't help but notice how well respected she was with the Vatican staff. Paul H has a keen eye - she spotted a pickpocket creeping in on our group and respectfully acknowledged her presence and she quickly ran off - asking everyone in our group to check for any small items missing. Paula H was so delightful and never skipped a beat. My 2nd visit was definitely the best - I saw so much more, loved having headphones and visiting the tombs below. Very impressive - thank you Paula H. for such an informative tour - you're simply the best!

More paintings focused please !
Hugo was very nice and knowledgeable. We expected the tour to focus more on paintings. The majority of the tour, proxy 75% focused on the history of medieval Lourve and statues, which is a little disappointing.. we expected the tour to focus much more on paintings and differentiate different artists techniques . Perhaps create a separate tour that focuses on the paintings thank you.

A basic overall tour with a good guide
We started with the meet up just outside the Tower walls, where Ray was easy to find. Overall, our guide was knowledgeable and entertaining. Next, Ray gave us a history of the Tower of London, followed by Ravensmaster Michael "Barney" Chandler, who explained the Opening Ceremony which followed. We were given approximately an hour to explore the Tower of London on our own. Next was a boat ride up the Thames. This was just public transportation on a covered boat, but our guide pointed out various sights along the way. We next walked to Trafalgar Square where our guide pointed out various monuments of note. We ended at Buckingham Palace where we were to watch the Changing of the Guard, but we were too late. I took off a star for that. Overall, I enjoyed the tour. It is very basic, so if you're looking for an in depth, guided tour of the Tower of London, you'll want to look elsewhere. If you specifically want to see the Changing of the Guard at Buckingham Palace, I would book that separately and specifically so as not to miss it.

Great value for the cost. It’s a lengthy trip to Tuscany from Rome. Not to mention the guide and the (very tasty) meal.

Straight to front of the line with a full sit down breakfast with cappuccino to start. The guide was extremely knowledgeable on the history and talked with headsets the entire time which truly made the tour so much more interesting.

Great tour of Normandy with Sam
We had a wonderful experience with Sam as our guide through Normandy. He provided a comprehensive history of the events leading up to WWII and D-Day while on the bus trip from Paris. All of the stops were well timed in terms of having an ample opportunity to explore each site on our own and have time for an overview and Q&A. The American Cemetery, Omaha Beach and Pont Nuer were the highlights, and the lunch and cider tasting were nice breaks. We would highly recommend Sam as a guide.

Really interesting tour with a very knowledgeable guide
We visited in early December 2024 and had Silvia as our guide. She was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, experience as an archiologist meaning she had first hand details of finding roman artifacts, always happy to answer questions. She provided fabulous stories and background throughout the tour. We skipped the line at the Colosseum, with great access to the whole building and loads of interesting stories provided, backed by pictures to illustrate how the gladiators would have looked and what animals they would have fought. We moved to Palatine hill to see the ancient palace ruins, then down into the forum to experience the temples and majesty of the Roman ruins. This tour was great and we loved being with Sylvia; we'd highly recommend her and City Wonders for tours next time you are visiting Rome.

Silvia was a great guide! She is very knowledgeable about the Colosseum and the Forum. It was a great experience with lots of information. This place is beautuful and the art work is amazing. The forum was just as amazing as the Colosseum. The History is amazing!! This is a must do tour. Sylvia did an amazing job, she's patient kind and enjoyed answering questions. Her accent is lovely and understandable. Make sure to ask for Silvia if you want a fun and thorough tour.
